Except KT is proven at CL level and Armstrong is proven at International Level. I would take 4-5million for Morelos, we need a striker who can score against Celtic. If Kris Boyd had the chances Morelos had he would have scored 25+ even at his age!

Sturridge is real quality when he is fit, over the last 2 seasons he proven he can’t stay clear of injury- had he done he would be at Russia playing in the World Cup! Nobody will know him more than Gerrard, personally I think the boys is soft and can't maintain a first team place due to the slightest niggle- regardless of if we could afford wages If he is soft he won’t be a Gerrard player!

Let’s be honest do we really need to unveil someone too sell thousands of shirts prior to the SD deal I’m sure we outsold the other half just about evey year and now we finally have a deal In place that works for the club the strips will fly off the shelf i for one will be buying all 3 for me and my 6 year old son. Much to the annoyance of his timmy mother and her family.

Shame I can’t back the team by going to games as much as I did due to work commitments really miss it and got a good feeling we are in the right journey.

I know I will probably be ripped a new one here, fair enough if I do. While Ings is probably better than what we have, I tend to look more at a strikers scoring record than anything else and to me without giving it a Google I am pretty sure his scoring record is terrible, for instance Boyd was never a great football player but found the net more often than not, prolific to state the obvious. My point I suppose is that while he is a premiership footballer Ings hasn't scored many goals and I would prefer a cheaper option that has a proven track record and goals to games ratio, I am not saying Ings is a bad player I just don't know if he would do it up here anyway, everyone as soon as a guy has played in the championship or premiership people say he would score barrel loads up here which I don't agree with. Long winded just my opinion.

Surely this can't be true? He's on 60k a week i'm sure. Only way I could see this happening is if Gerrard has room for one signing on huge wages, but even then it seems very unlikely.

There have been rumours of a 'marquee' signing however.

Can’t see that being a starter. Perhaps there’s been enquiries but that’s as far as it’ll go. Do Liverpool want a fee or is he out of contract? We need to off load bigger earners like Alves and Herrera first before we can think of offering another big contract to someone.

I don't think Ings will happen. However if he is free. and if he doesn't take a signing on fee. then give him a 2 year deal at 60k a week. that's 3.1m a season, roughly. keep him one season and hope he bangs in the goals. then punt him for double figures. again don't think it will happen.
