Bears what is your opinion on Sandazza can he improve?

Believable40 Unbelievable65

If he keeps fit and gets a run of games yes, I expect we will get the best from him next season.

Agree0 Disagree3

Well he played excellent football elsewhere.

Agree0 Disagree6

30 Dec 2012 20:27:48
No he can't improve! Bad player bought after Ally scouted him for ages & gave him a hefty weekly wage. More supporters money wasted!!

Agree2 Disagree4

No, I've never rated him, he a one dimentional player with no pace. Not good enough

Agree2 Disagree2

I don't think he can improve and his statement to the media shows his heart is not with us. wot u guys think. (bill airdrie )

Agree0 Disagree4

30 Dec 2012 22:26:25
I think he can improve, can't really get any worse ! Has only had 1 good season in his career to my knowledge, last season, then again he only played well first hallf of season. For a guy at 27/28 not a good career record, and he lacks fight for a physical battle, which Is so important against all the hackers. Certainly not worth keeping Little or Naismith out of striker berths.

Agree0 Disagree2

I cant say I'm a fan of Sandazza. I'd really like to see improvement from him but just cant get excited about the guy at the moment. I do hope I'm proved wrong but he would be last choice for me if I was picking the team. I'm much more excited by the young players we have coming through.

Agree0 Disagree1

If he keeps his arm at the side of him lol

Agree0 Disagree2

No another dud signed by ally woodnae trust ally wae our 10 million transfer budget it could b a disaster not quite on the scale of the titanic but still a disaster woodnae trust allt 2 sign a autografe never mind a player worried bear watp rtid

Agree0 Disagree5

The boy needs his weetabix in the morning!
WATP Stevemac

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest he's no really had a decent run in the team or much support when he has played, i think he will come good when he gets a run in the team

Agree2 Disagree0

To be perfectly honest it would be an impossibility for him to be any worse so theoretically he can only get better ! would not like to be hanging by the neck waiting for it though. On a more positive note lets keep winning starting tomorrow lunchtime and wrap this title up in record time, let us all get behind the directors, management and staff in 2013.......we are on the way back to where we belong and I feel that the majority of the young players will benefit hugely from these leagues to toughen them up and when we get back these boys will be 20 - 23 years old at most and will be seasoned professionals who with a few decent signings in with them will make all the rest of the rag tag mobs who wanted us out of existence for whatever reasons eat their words - we are coming for you -happy and prosperous new year to all bears and the non-bears who have supported us throughout the past 12 months, watp

Agree3 Disagree0

These boys may be only 20-23 years old when get back to top flight (division 1 as CG is adamant he won't be playing the PL!) but will only be as good as the players they have been playing against in the lower leagues! Look at any other club who get promoted, they always struggle with players who were the best in the league from which they came from! Rangers will be needing serious money to compete at the top level cos these youngsters won't cut it at all!

Agree0 Disagree2

How can they only be as good as the players they are playing against? If that was true every game would be a draw , the reason they have won 10 in a row and are so many points ahead is because they are BETTER than the players they are playing against you numbskull ! and can only improve, if you have nothing useful to contribute stay off the Rangers site

Agree2 Disagree1

Personally, I have never rated him highly, but with our current situation and level he could be a useful member of the squad as we go up the divisions.

JAS

Agree1 Disagree1

He will never improve sitting on the bench with a midfielder at centre with a winger behind him get two strikers on ally its the third div after all

Agree0 Disagree0

The only answer to this post is , , , YES ffs as he cannot get ant worse? happy new year to all:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he can he is pure quality his turn pace and vision. The problem will be holding onto him .Big clubs ib EPL have ave already made multi million pound bids for him which will be in the news tomorrow {The Ed039's Note - Dont talk tosh)

Agree1 Disagree0

Not unless he gets a grip of himself,

He just signed for the paycheck thinking he would walk this Leaugue like a few others, but these guys have been found out..... an will be moved on

What do you bears think about some of the QP players yesterday? I think instead of spending big on SPL players we should look some of these lads. Ricky Little and Lawrence Shankland looked decent to me. Lawrence being a young lad which is good for us and Ricky Little, the CB looking like he can put a good shift in.

Let me know what you think bears!

Rangers Family.

Believable31 Unbelievable29

What about the young players that you bood at half time?

Agree0 Disagree1

Both players are big Rangers fans. Ricky Little did really well and Lawrence Shankland will be playing at a higher level soon. WATP.

Agree1 Disagree0

@2 Naismith and laugherty were big Rangers fans too! It means diddly squat what team they support! Remember Scott brown was a big rangers fan and look where he ended up!

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Dec 2012 20:35:47
Are we Rangers or not? If we are then behave yourself as these guys will never be Rangers class. That's why they play for Queens Park. Must be looking for better than this bears or we will never get back to the big time!!

Agree1 Disagree2

Mate what about that aidan conolly hes a flying machine and set up a perfect scoring chance but shankland mucked it up big time!! and ricky little looks a bit old dont u think?

Agree1 Disagree0

In all fairness Shankland cleared the ball in the Rangers box and sprinted 80 yards his legs gave up. Connolly looks decent.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ricky Little is only 23.

Agree0 Disagree0

To post #4 'Are we Rangers or not?'

Did David Templeton not start at Stenhousemuir?

Agree0 Disagree1

Ricky Little was man of the match IMO - worth a punt. {The Ed039's Note - If that was Queens number 4 then I agree he was man of the match, he was immense, not worth a punt but had a great game)

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Dec 2012 18:15:03
No David Templeton did not start at Stenhousemuir. He was there on loan from Hearts!! Before having a go at a fellow bear check your facts. {The Ed039's Note - I think you should check your facts, Templeton was a Stenhousemuir youth player, came through the ranks before transferring to Hearts for a nominal fee of £30k plus add ons, ie, a further £11k when Templeton made his first team debut, which happened to be against Celtic)

Agree0 Disagree0

Regarding David Templeton. I only asked if he didn't start his career at Stenhousemuir. My point was simply to point out that there are some hidden gems in the lower leagues. We're getting a first hand look at them this season.
Ally should be taking notes.

By the way, thanks Ed for your backing and facts.

Agree0 Disagree1

Lawrence Shankland was in the year below me in school, he is a die hard Rangers fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Was Ricky little the man who caused a stir with his comment about black getting a meaty challenge?

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Jan 2013 20:20:32
Wow! He was the year below you at school? Well we should definitely sign him then!!

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Dec 2012 14:50:21
Who will Rangers sell in the Transfer Window ?

Believable22 Unbelievable28

Alexander, hugely overpaid and let's in too many. Expensive, give a younger lad a go.
Black, expensive, don't need him in SFL.

Agree2 Disagree2

Wallace (excuse will be wanting International call-up ) Probably Little too. Leaving Rangers very "lightweight" for the rest of season .

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers wont be selling anyone in
january.who would buy third division players.jamie

Agree1 Disagree1

A lot is about unhappy players wanting to leave. If Ally told me two seasons at most to top tier, I'd be feeling duped.

Agree0 Disagree2

If Green sells any of our so called stars, Wallace, Templeton etc, it'll be a sign that all is not as well on the financial front as we're led to believe.
We should be looking at sensible targets for next season.
At best we'll be in SFL2.
If reconstruction goes ahead with SPL1/2 and an SFL of 18 then that's where we'll be.We should plan our expenditure accordingly.Overspending was the cause of all our recent troubles.Let's see if we've learned anything.

Agree0 Disagree2

30 Dec 2012 20:31:24
Heard the spl big boys are circling over a few of our young stars. Surely we can stave them off Ed. These boys are the future & Green better fight tooth & nail to keep them!! {The Ed039's Note - only one team can afford them so don't see that happening)

Agree0 Disagree1

From what I've see Ashfield, Cummnock and Petershill will likely buy some of your finest. Whoever your finest are.

Agree2 Disagree1

Why would we sell when we........

1). DONT NEED THE MONEY!!
2). Cant register any players until September 1st 2013.

OP, yer at the wind up......id be worrying more about who YOUR mhob will be selling rather than thinking about who We will (not) be selling.
We need all the players we have just now, a time will come when we sell but now is not that time!!

Agree0 Disagree1

31 Dec 2012 16:23:49
we dont need to worry too much about selling because

1) we will get lots of money in the millions of £'s if we do

2) we are in a position financially and Legally where we can buy suitable replacements if required

2) and most importantly we dont NEED to sell
to survive; with the income we are generating this year we can hold out for best prices and offer better deals if required....

I do hope you do not need to sell but if you do Mr Green has to be asked about the untouched season ticket money and share issue portion for Players ( in the future)

but mute points until window closes and we can see what if anything has transpired

Agree0 Disagree0

To the post before this....

We can register players before 1st September, if they're under-18. We saw a couple yesterday who play on a team which is not doing too badly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can see one of the Capital big 2 or the Dundees moving in with 100k for 2 or 3 of the 'young stars' ..Surely a good enough price for Div 3 players ?..TTTS {The Ed039's Note - Not aimed at this post, but some folk need to get a grip, outside Celtic in the SPL nobody can afford either the transfer fees for the younger players or the wages of any more established players. I doubt any big teams in England are sniffing around the youngsters just yet and they would be mad to go anyway while they are playing regularly and getting good exposure)

Agree0 Disagree1

We are in a rebuilding process, I can't see anybody leaving, we don't need the money either, good times ahead.

Agree0 Disagree1

What value do you put on a young player playing in Div 3 ed ... 25k-75k ?......TTTS {The Ed039's Note - I value Lewis MacLeod and Barrie McKay at alot more than that, I dont care what anybody says, if someone came in with a bid of a million for MacLeod I would laugh at it)

Agree0 Disagree0

How can u say u want rid of Alexander , he's been one of our best players it's perry and cribari who have been poor

Jay

Agree0 Disagree0

Right a get a bit annoyed on this with all the garbage but we have to be realistic here people saying mckay mcleod being looked at by spl clubs the only spl clubs who could afford them is that lot and a rate these boys highly dont think they would get near celtics squad at present actually i know they wouldnt but lets just get this out the way and back to were we belong watp

Agree0 Disagree1

Since there is no accounts to view. it is presumptious to assume Rangers is financially viable.

We will see in April.

Agree0 Disagree1

30 Dec 2012 12:00:42
What do people think would be our strongest 11 just now ! Mine is a 4-4-2 of Alexander, (rb) Agyriou, (lb)Wallace, Hegarty (cb) Criberi (cb) (lm) Templeton (rm) McKay (cm) McLeod (cm) Hutton (CF) McCulloch (CF) Little. I think there are plenty of goals in that team, with good balance. If the greek righ back is out we would play darren cole there as he is a natural right back with pace unlike perry and hegarty. Also Kal Naismith should be in front of Kyle and Sandazza both are very poor, lack movement and mobility.

Believable16 Unbelievable14

No dean sheils? He makes the front line tick IMO

Agree0 Disagree0

A don't like the look criberi but were that short at the back weve no choice.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't argue much with that but we don't exactly have many options beyond that xi. Argyriou has improved greatly since the start of the season and Sandaza and Blacks performances have been well covered in a recent post. We ARE a third division club and naturally the team will progress over the next couple of years as players mature and we add additional players. The future is bright fellow bears. WATP.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Dec 2012 15:43:20
I like Shiels, he's a clever player, a natural false number 10, problem is we don't need someone in that role in SFL3 with only 1 striker, who gets isolated to often. So at this level we are more suited to 2 up front, shiels is like black the higher we go up in leagues the more useful they will get. When Little or Naismith have played up we look more dangerous, and would score more than shiels (well Little has from ou wide mainly. With Little and big Jig up top with Templeton, and Mckay supplying the crosses we would average 5 goals a game at this level

Agree0 Disagree0

Dunno if the goalie is worth the £13k a week. Let a lot of goals in so far this season.

Agree1 Disagree1

30 Dec 2012 21:26:13
Ideally you wouldn't pay a goalie big wages at this level, but Alexander done right thing and trsbaferred his contract and as a result we have a top top goalie, who not only makes us a better team than if he where not here, he will help bring on young gallacher, curruie, kelly, and mccombe. We have excellent young goalies coming through who will improve training with Alexander. Though my one criticism of him is his disrtribution, its much better when he passes it out on deck to a defender, instead of 90% of his long kicks that goes straight to the opposition.

Agree0 Disagree0

4-2-3-1 Formation

1. Alexander

2. Hegarty
6. McCulloch
3. Cribari
5. Wallace

4. Hutton
8. MacLeod

7. McKay
10. Shiels
11. Templeton

9. Little

Agree0 Disagree0

If u thinj hegarty is a gd cb ur deluded ma friend and greek boy is a disaster get a grip

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Dec 2012 20:14:34
The Greek boy has came on bundles, good in defence, a great passer of the ball, good athlete. Hegarty has lots to learn, but is solid most of the time, and will get more consistant. I quite like look of alternative team, though big Jig is our best centre back I feel we benefit more with his goals upfront.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hegarty n greek boy are rubbish? have u been 2 a game the 2 boys have been very good. {The Ed039's Note - Hegarty had a couple of decent games at centre back, but Argiryou is OK. He hasnt done anything wrong which is fine as a defender, but a modern day full back has got to show more going forward, so IMO he has done OK, but no more than that)

Agree0 Disagree0

Cribari is worse than a man down. So it would be Alexander (Defence)Wallace hegarty McCulloch Greek boy (Midfield) templeton black Macleod McKay (Strikers) Little Shields

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jan 2013 16:02:58
Look at us today, toiling at 1-1, ally then puts 2 up front, one of which Little and we win 3-1. We should always play two up at this level, as long as its not sandaza he is useless

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats wrong with young ross perry nobody has put him in there first 11

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't agree with McCulloch playing CF. We need a player up front who has pace.
