In addition I thought Speirs had written one of the only two sensible articles I read re the SA affair in the Times last Saturday referring to no sense in keeping "unwilling conscripts"?

God we are not banning people again, what for this time? this is stupid and childish. If we are not happy with what people are saying about our club either come out and challenge the or drag them thro the courts for libel. Banning the media stinks of people having something to hide .

It's one of those rare occasions where I concur with ally lol. Sends entirely the wrong message imo and indeed implies there is something to hide just as we appear to be moving forwards in a positive vein within the boardroom, squad and playing style etc. Don't understand the necessity of banning them, it's unnecessary. As ally said, if their rhetoric is considered defamatory take them through the courts instead.

Apparently Rangers are out for another winger, and it's rumoured to be 18 year old Josh Ginnelly from Shrewsbury Town, this is after problems with his contract had been announced at Shrewsbury! What a great signing he'd be, seems like a really good prospect!

That'll be an interesting one if ultimately true we are in for him. Burnley have had a 400k compensation deal rejected already by Shrewsbury and he's valued a lot higher than that by them. Newcastle, amongst others, also wanting him. Guessing it'll go down the route of a tribunal so fee could be a lot higher. Seems a lot for an 18yo prospect with minimal first team experience at a provincial club but if warbs rates him may be worthwhile value wise.

Although we are in a different country I don't think he would be free, but it would be a fraction of what an english club would have to pay. Let's hope it's not just paper talk, another good youth would be welcome on the new look Rangers juggernaut!
