Swoby, your absolutely correct, the French transfer market is not open yet so no official deal can be done until then. Yes I think it's around the middle of August. Morelos has been denying that any communication has took which would be correct as he's contracted to Rangeŕs. I love the speculation which is down to the press to sell stories and to the agents to sell players which in turn earns them more cash.

New poster. I see a couple of stories stating we're looking at Nsame from Young Boys. From what I seen in qualifiers he would be ideal, scoring goals too which is a necessity to fill in morelos' likely absence.

Yeah. Heard it too. Out of all the players linked with us, maric and nsame are the only two believable for me. JP nsame is 6ft2 and almost 14 stone. Tall and powerful. He played well against us and supposedly his agent has been in contact with RFC and direct with wilson. Just what we need when Alfie's eventually off. Hope to hell we get someone in quick.

Agree Jenkins I would like both Shankland and Dykes both are proven strikers in Scotland and both are hungry and will play for jersey, in the past we have signed the likes of Boyd And Dodds from smaller clubs and look how well they did.

Shankland would be another Boyd for me, wouldn't play every game. Likely sacrificed to the bench when playing 1 up top, but he would hammer the goals in against the dross of the SPL.
Watch some of his goals, it doesn't matter the level of opposition, he is a good finisher.

He who, not really a fair assessment, was only a kid, and getting a few mins off the bench here and there. he's actually a better all round player than kris boyd, and the boy can score all types of goals. Not the big name folk are dying for, but I reckon he would bang goals in for us.

If we are signing either of the Scottish players, Shankland and Dykes then it has to be either or for the 3rd striker role and not as a replacement for Morelos, should he go, and I have my doubts that this will happen. The Zunga deal appears to be dragging its heels and I do worry that we will be regretting not having him in before the Aberdeen game tomorrow. I just worry that our defensive midfield will struggle against Aberdeen's rough house tactics and I can't see us getting much protection from Scottish Referees. Kamara will no doubt go AWOL when the studs start flying in!

I've seen Adrian grbic play, he's strong quick knows where the goals are and also excellent at the free kicks too. I would get him and nasame as our two strikers as they would rip the league apart, and knock the rubbish out of the other rubbish at the other end of Glasgow.

If they can go to £18m they can go to £20m, especially if there are a host of clubs in for him now. Rangers will accept nothing until all the clubs have submitted a bid. We don't have an option but to play Morelos against Aberdeen thanks to the incompetence of either our DoF or our Board in failing to bring in the necessary reinforcements. Gerrard has made it quite clear that he needs new first team players which in turn will increase the quality of our squad rather than see us in a position where we only have one fit striker at the club. It's not much different in the more defensive midfield roles where we only have Jack and Kamara and I am not a great fan of the latter. I am quickly coming to the conclusion that the planned £20m investment from the Far East will not materialise and as a result we won't be seeing any quality signings unless we sell Morelos.
