Not a huge priority but just wondered if and when Murray Park is going to be renamed and what would be everybody suggestions for a good name. Mines would be " The Davy Cooper park.

Believable30 Unbelievable29

Won't be renaimed after green anyway haha. Am just glad its not been renamed asda the way our luck was goin.
Dtp89

Agree1 Disagree0

John Greig acadamy has a ring to it.

Agree2 Disagree0

It should be called the moses mcneil training park

Agree1 Disagree2

Cooper Academy or Struth Park.

Agree2 Disagree0

Every mention of it is " auchenhowie " so it probs has offically been renamed

Agree0 Disagree0

Cooper park sounds about right , full of average players who wont win much in their careers ,fab1

Agree0 Disagree8

Struth Park for me, with the words (or a more concise version thereof) "No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome" under the gates / at the entrance

Agree2 Disagree0

"The Rangers Football Academy".

Agree2 Disagree0

What a sad life you must have to belittle one of the greatest most talented and gifted players of our generation. Take a reality check . {Ed039's Note - Well said)

Agree4 Disagree0

Rangers Training Ground...simples

Agree0 Disagree0

^ aye right Cooper average?well a guess you never seen him as he had more skill in his "bad foot" than the spl has seen in the last 20 years.anyway why bother posting childish drivel like that?spend some time on your own teams site which i assume is pacific shelf 595

Agree2 Disagree0

Have a bit of respect Fab1.
Some of the stuff you lot from the darkside hit out with is disgusting.

Agree2 Disagree0

I think we should maybe name it the 12h man tranng park, in dedication to the fans for the support we have shown during his turbulent period in our history

Agree0 Disagree0

Won't win much?sounds like a bitter timmy to me. Probably annoyed are our clubs history that our fans will always remember.
Dtp89

Agree0 Disagree0

As a Celtic I think it should be named after either John Greig or Davy Cooper, both great players, just my opinion

Agree1 Disagree0

(fab1) YER A MUPPET from a Celtic Fan

Agree3 Disagree0

Struth Park or Struth Academy

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry the guy wasnt a world beater and won very little in his time and very few caps for scotland , thats not to say he wasnt a nice guy ( check what he actually won during his time) really great players inspire their team to win medals and cups , larrson , laudrup, messi , maradonna , the list is long ,but cooper aint on it ,fab1 {Ed039's Note - You are a joke Fab1, go back and watch videos of Cooper, the guy was class)

Agree2 Disagree0

Oh and to the guy who didnt leave a name , " more skill than the spl has seen in the last 20 years" larrson , nakamura , laudrup and gasgoine were all far superior players, again not saying he was not a nice guy but ffs put his talent in perspective ,fab1 {Ed039's Note - Are you really trying to tell me Nakamura was better then Cooper????? I can not believe what I am reading, NAKAMURA BETTER THAN COOPER?? Haaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahaha. I think I am going to wet myself)

Agree2 Disagree0

The William Waddell Academy for me. The man did lead us to our greatest ever win.

BARNEY BEAR

Agree0 Disagree0

COOPERS WAY PARK

Agree0 Disagree0

How about recognising people who have really helped the team over the years; The Hugh Dallas Park, the Jim Traynor Training Ground, The Hately- McLean- chick young facility.......?

Agree0 Disagree1

You seem to forget the john greig was in on the dodgy deals which put our club in this situation. Struth Park or auchenhowie seem better

Agree0 Disagree0

Has cooper ever even walked on that park ? he has no connection to it at all ... cooper had feet skill but was as slow as a week in the jail which stopped him from going any further than aberdeen

Agree0 Disagree0

Not just better ed much better , would have hm in my team first all day long , get them to pop their medals and caps on the table or compare their games at the very top level(world cups & euro cups) ,just shows how insular and blinkered views are you are most defiantly well suited to these pages ed ,fab1 {Ed039's Note - Hahahahahahahahahahaha, blinkered, pot kettle!! This ammuses me this conversation. Alex Cleland probably has more medals than Naka and Cooper, didnt make him a better player)

Agree0 Disagree0

Teddybears academy would be quite cool mind, obviously teddybears are Rangers fans, and it signifies youth, as it would be for our youth system. Its a bit informal but hey.
Or The People's Academy. That way, when youth players come through, there can be a banner that says WE ARE THE PEOPLE! hehe.
If not, The Rangers Football Academy.
WATP Stevemac

Agree0 Disagree0

Cooper never knew when to release the ball ,took on one man to many.average player in a poor team

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't have Greig's name anywhere near it - walked away and haven't heard a peep from him coming out in support of the club all these months. SFA report named him as one of the directors who should have whistleblown Whyte last year and let us down. Cooper Park is the one for me as the wee man never let us down.

Agree0 Disagree0

And did clelland star and score goals and win motm awards at world cups , confederations cups or champ league level , with 95 caps and 38 goals naka was a top class international player , with 22 caps ( 11 in competitive games) and 5 goals david cooper wasn't , nice guy though he might have been .fab1 {Ed039's Note - I am still p*ssing myself laughing, top international footballer, you seen the opposition, Brunei, Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, Oman?? You are so full of it)

Agree0 Disagree0

Brasil , france , usa , england , argentina ,italy , mexico , 2 of coopers goals came against wait for it , the mighty luxenburg , whats your point ed ? {Ed039's Note - Are you also telling me that Nakamura was better then Cooper. Honestly, thanks for cheering me up guys)

Agree0 Disagree0

Fab1 Stop trying to sound like you know a thing or two about football. I grew up watching Davy Cooper, Tommy Burns, Ally McCoist, Paul Mcstay. They were brilliant and you are a t**t!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ordinary player davy cooper ? just like jimmy johnstone couldnt get a game for scotland cos willie henderson was miles better ,shows when jj took his frustation out on tottie beck at ibrox and got sent off and big davy provan used to bury him in the straw in front of the jungle with great tackles ,main reason D.C. never played great games for scotland was he hadnt the quality round about him that was at ibrox doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

ED, I think it's time to start ignoring the tool that calls himself fab1, he is obviously a moron. Nakamura better than cooper. Total s**te!! Nakamura could hit a freekick that's about it.

Lee

Ps fab1, u don't have a clue

Agree0 Disagree0

Wat a lot crap some ppl talk on here especialy those dim tims nak couldnt tie cops laces take a look on utube at the goal he scored against celtic and aberdeen and the way he tookthe penalty against wales that put us in2 the world cup finals you muppets

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed you are a total fudd (alex clelland ebt) {Ed039's Note - Hmmmmmmm, big deal, is that the best you have?)

Agree0 Disagree0

Two good goals and a penalty doesnt make him better than naka you bigger muppet

Agree0 Disagree0

Cooper, struts, waddle etc... Are up there for having their name on the training ground, but another one to include is Walter Smith. What this guy has done for rangers, let alone any club will not be matched. Walter Smith Academy or Walter Park, Smith Park. Dont sound the best but still a nice gesture.

Agree0 Disagree0

Murray park has been sold does not belong to rangers what has any of these players got to do with the new club ??

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with Moses McNiel park

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't mind what it's called as long as it's not green park, but i'd rather have it called le guen park than it remain murray park.

Agree0 Disagree0

Anton rogan was better than old shinsuke nackered-motor. Was he forty when he signed for celtic?

That moravcik boy was far better than the duff jap. This boy fab is a rocket.

Agree0 Disagree0

How about the Milngavie Hilton Sport and Leisure Complex.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard today that over 35,000 season tickets been sold, if thats true we are just showing why WATP

Believable34 Unbelievable83

Charles Green has punted no where near 35,000 tickets for his Sevco outfit.
Try nearer 5,000.
Honestly!

Agree0 Disagree5

Is that not the break even number?

Agree0 Disagree0

I really hope so ive got mine lets get behind super ally and the team and give them the support we need to get back to the top where we belong

Agree4 Disagree0

Extra 0 inserted!

Agree0 Disagree1

While I'd like to believe that I reckon it's just Charlie getting mixed up again.

And I heard last night that Ally and Charlie have fallen out big time over money.

Hamish

Agree1 Disagree1

Listen green and coisty havnt fell out over money why post these lies we need support not negativity we have just signed to spl players in last 2 wks so how can u justify that comment

Agree2 Disagree1

The club do not have banking facilities, so only cash or cheques are being taken, there is no way 35,000 have bought ST this way just paying cash. Even if ticket office was flat out for last month, they coulf only cope with 10,000 at most.

Agree0 Disagree1

At least Green stepped up to the plate when no-one else would. We all need to get behind the team just now. Even if his motives are purely money-driven, if he is a half-decent business man, he will at worst make Rangers attractive for a buyer. We'll see then who backs up their talk with cash. WATP

Agree2 Disagree0

Plus Green has said he will give Ally a 25 year contract - just sayin like..

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard there is a 10 year waiting list.

Agree1 Disagree0

Auntie works in ticket office about 5,000 st sold by thursday night but have yet to start on postal replys

Agree2 Disagree0

Well a mr martin took my envelope outside ticket office on friday which had my debit card details ,also checked my phone numbers ,queue,s a plenty ,timmys are getting worried now ,time to go to b and q to replace the shoogly nails lol doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol Ally looks like a 65 year old, he'd never last 25 years of the last 6 months experience.

Lol 10 years waiting list for a Rangers season ticket lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

What you on about cash cheques i was up thursday and paid my two by bank card my mate paid his two by credit card why post this s---e i would not be surprised if over thirty thousand have been sold as the waiting time was over two hours so give it a break

Agree0 Disagree0

To comment 1 - we're The RangersFootball Club Ltd now, not Sevco ;)

And to the guy saying about no banking facilities: The Bank of Scotland, I think, said no chance, but we have a bank (a relatively new bank based in London). Also, season ticket renewal forms ask if you would like to pay by card or cheque...

Agree0 Disagree0

You're having a laugh! 35,000 tickets sold?! With the amount of fans saying no money with green onboard?! Keep dreaming

Agree0 Disagree0

Good luck with SB sales will need them to stay alive. I think you will find that Green and McCoist have fell out. Green has offered a contract to all the backroom staff which is to them is not acceptable. However this is just a rumour!

Agree0 Disagree0

No money with green on board ? you keep posting that and we,l keep laughing while we watch you sink down the table in the spl this year ,yous think youl run away with league well think again cmon the jam tarts tynecastles chosen few lol doug t.s.o

Agree0 Disagree0

10000 down on last season, so 10000 did do walking away

Agree0 Disagree1

The only 10 year waiting list you have is the people you cheated money out of {Ed039's Note - How long did it take you to come up with that one?)

Agree0 Disagree0

No banking facilities I smell bull, how then did my mucka pay on line for his tickets on tues with card, Ohhh and how did I manage to pay for mine by debit card in the ticket office on thurs, along with many other bears. Banking facilities have been up and running almost all week. Away back to yer own page and spout lies. A lot o worried folk out there who were itching to see us go under. Worry about yet own clubs as yet almost finished.

Agree0 Disagree0

There are knowhere near that amoynt sold
10,000 max at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

Mr Martin ? sound's dodgy mate better check your bank account.
Tam

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't knw about 35 thousand but 5000 my arse y dnt use tims get bak to ur own page and let uz get on way it.

Agree0 Disagree0

36000 last year only 1000 down Celtic fans obsessed with rangers unbelievable

Agree0 Disagree0

Only 48,000 turned up to watch the tainted title flag being unfurled yesterday and you's come on here to have a go! We don't do walking away and you's don't do turning up! Lol

Agree0 Disagree0

How is it tainted exactly? uz are the ones that went into admin not us.get a grip and jst admit the best won the league!! An the subject of tainted titles, people in glass houses should not throw stones. Scottybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Why's the title tainted? Go on, embarrass yourself by explaining bitterly...

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol bitter look whose talking you bunch of bitter over obsessed muppets

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahaaa 36000 people leaving ibrox with 15 mins to go cos your trailing to postman pats first half goal for peterhead {Ed039's Note - Thats what happened to Pat, did Jess come as part of the deal, and no not Eoin Jess)

Agree0 Disagree0

The rangers game on tuesday is NOT on tv I looked for it nd it aint on tv but nxt saturdays game is its an afternoon game

Believable22 Unbelievable13

I posted previously regarding the switching of this game and some tubes tried to shoot me down, If this game is not on tv why was it not played today giving us the chance of a bigger crowd, moving to a tuesday night must have an affect on attendance and you would wonder why this game was switched

JG

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sure that I read earlier that when Rangers were Team 12 in the SPL these fixtures were drawn so that no 2 Glasgow teams were playing at home on the same day , then with Rangers taking their place in Div 3 we then were allocated Stranrear's fixtures. Police have maintained the ruling of only one Old Firm team at home in Glasgow on a Saturday so this is why the cup game v East Fife , and possibly other games in the future may be re-scheduled.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would it be on tv?

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2012 15:46:15
just back from getting my ticket and seen sandaza going into ibrox? maby a deal to be done there

Believable21 Unbelievable59

Total crap rangers do their dealing at murray park not ibrox and not at 6 30 on a sat night get real

Agree1 Disagree0

Have to agree crap all business involving players etc done at murrray park

Agree0 Disagree0

Guy turned you down when u were in spl so why would he sign now

Agree0 Disagree1

Every one turnud us down under white as he payd f all

Agree0 Disagree0

All deals are signed and done at murray park so highly doubt it. Maybe it was a tourist on a tour lol

Garyy

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah seen Robbie Savage, Gazza, Gattuso, Elvis, Micky Moose n that burd oota Gregory's Girl at Murray Park - Gazza looked good guys he even gave me a chip n ah can o lager

Agree4 Disagree0

Agreed that this is probably made up rubbish, but it is possible he could have been getting a tour of the ground etc? Although that's a long shot on a Saturday evening. Would be good if this materialised though

Agree1 Disagree0

I dunno mate, said some crap things about us at the start o the year lyk,but yeah if he scores 30+ goals for us then why not,i didnt like Ian Black but now he signed for us in are situation i think good for you son, the lad has took some flak for it but hes willing to help us back where we belong and he knows he is now playing for the biggest team in scotland, If we were still in the SPL and we signed Black i would have thought thats a now bad signing at all

Agree0 Disagree0

Randomly I was at ibrox yesterday at 6.30 taking photos for someone and there was no activity at all. The shutters were down so stop talking rubbish!

Agree0 Disagree0

Apart from anything,he signed for a belgian team. Can't mind the name but they were just promoted to the top division. So haud yer weesh! {Ed039's Note - No he hasnt, he is a free agent)

Agree0 Disagree0

Just going past Ibrox and saw ( insert name) coming out do you think he'll sign? Please fill in as required save your time. {Ed039's Note - lol)

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2012 15:35:19
Ex pat but me and the mates would still like to purchase tickets. cant get to the games but will willingly give to a children's charity. How do we purchase?

Ozzzie AL

Believable12 Unbelievable30

You need to be at the ticket office in person; we don't have any of the banking facilities other clubs have because our predecessor was that toxic that no one will touc The Rangers with a barge pole.

Agree0 Disagree1

Phone the ticket number on rangers website

Agree0 Disagree0

Excellent gesture mate you can purchase tickets through the www.rangers.co.uk website for upcoming fixtures. Not sure if you could come to some sort of arrangement with perhaps the Rangers Chairty Foundation which has done some great work over the years to distribute the tickets for you to kids or whatever. There website is http://www.rangerscharity.org.uk/ - I would suggest emailing them to see if you could pays for tickets on-line and have them delivered to there HQ.

As I said great gesture and as you and your mates will know once a Ranger always a Ranger.

Gers1986

Agree4 Disagree1

Brilliant gesture mate. Watp.

Agree1 Disagree0

We do have banking facilities. I bought tickets for the East Fife game online using a debit card. Obviously a fan who hasn't purchased anything yet.

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm a tim and I think that's a great gesture. Great way of giving your club funds and making a kid's day

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't make the game on Tuesday night. Anyone know if it will be telivised?

Believable9 Unbelievable38

Can't make it,then why watch on tv.unbelievable!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree5

Its at ibrox of course its not on tv

Agree0 Disagree0

ITS ON BBC ALBA MATE

Agree0 Disagree1

Aye mate, SKY SPORTS 2, KO half 9

Agree1 Disagree0

It's not on BBC ALBA

Agree0 Disagree0

No it's not! i just checked.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jeeeeezus ... the guy is just asking a question, yet the negative loyal are on his case a.s.a.p...get a grip man . BIG BILL....

Agree1 Disagree1

To the first post, the man/women may have responsibilities like children they have to look after which are slightly more important than going to the game you moron.

Agree3 Disagree0

The guy said he can't make it, so he can't make it! How is that unbelievable? Maybe he broke his leg or something fs. Wouldn't like to live with you.

Agree2 Disagree0

To be fair to the lad there are rangers supporters round the world that wont be able to watch the game live so the tv is the only option!!!!!!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

The chap could be working away.. less of the nasty remarks snm

Agree1 Disagree0

There could be numerous reasons for not making it on Tues night finance health nightshift wouldn't be able to get to work on time family responsibilityetc etc

Agree1 Disagree0

Great to see the diddy teams getting tv coverage - great for Scottish Football.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally offers sandaza contract also a free agent !

Believable20 Unbelievable35

Any source or just a rumour {Ed053's Note - if you try a search function something should come up.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope he doesn't come...he was vile about us in jan

Agree1 Disagree1

Hope he joins need someone with a little spark up front! He will bang in an easy 30+ this season if he comes

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Aug 2012 11:39:36
With a lot of chat about edu, goian and bocanegra on the way out, we must bring in some defenders to form a strong defence. That being said, who would you like to see brought in?

I will start of possible suggestions with some free agents:
Rob jones, ex hibs player, strong and good defender
Mark reynolds, on way out from sheff wed
Gregory vignal, free agent, solid the last time

Need to be strong at the back but we could need to make do with cole broadfoot perry wallace.

Believable18 Unbelievable19

Rob jones aint a free agent

Agree1 Disagree0

Rob jones is at Doncaster now

Agree1 Disagree0

Vignal? surely he would wanna join as he already received £173,000 through EBT's.
maybe another "loan" and he will sign for life :D
frankiebhoy

Agree1 Disagree1

Why would we make way with lee Wallace he's a quality left back

Agree1 Disagree0

Was thinking Broadfoot would be good in division 3 but after the only game we have played i still dont rate him.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ppl stop posting about rob jones he has signed new deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Dave Kitson, just walked from Portsmouth. Erratic but worth a look.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dave Kitson, just walked from Portsmouth. Erratic but worth a look. [ his wee legs must be killing him.] lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

Expect 5 rangers players to walk this week. {Ed039's Note - Probably right, but they won't be "walking" like the others, they would be free to move on prob for nominal fee)

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Aug 2012 23:18:09
Elliot Kebbie's trial at Rangers unsuccessful and he's left along with Kafes

Believable27 Unbelievable24

Are all these false dawns regarding prospective signing targets not the same as you endured last January??????? ( under Whyte!!)...JohnnyG ...everybody on trial but no one good enough..lol

Agree0 Disagree1

Must be really bad if they were not deemed good enough for the 3rd div, time to save money that is not really there and use some of the under 19s, surely they could do a job in the 3rd div and wont be looking for 7k a week somethoing else that cant be afforded at this level

Agree0 Disagree0
