Hemmings sent out on loan to Cowdenbeath (Source: STV)

Believable23 Unbelievable8

Im a celtic fan and I think its best for the player, he will be playing against better opposition and you will win div 3 without him so better to get him at a higher level for when you get there,

Whats everyone's thoughts on hemmings going out on loan? Personally id rather have punted sandasa. Hemmings was dynamite in last seasons pre season cant understand ally sometimes

Believable31 Unbelievable8

He is only being loaned out for a one month period and will only miss 4 matches, so I don't see a problem with this. At least it will give him playing time which he isn't getting right now.

Agree2 Disagree0

Good move. Get him some game time. Were ok without him so far. Better to trust those who are on the training pitch with him every day in my opinion.

Agree2 Disagree0

We lose a player to injury for the season and we send out one on loan, am i missing the point in the fact we have a small squad as it is, and cant replace anyone {The Ed039's Note - Hemings can't play right back and needs games. Good arrangement IMO)

Agree0 Disagree1

The boys had some ba injurys good move get some games

Agree1 Disagree0

Did he not score one goal pre season?

John

Agree1 Disagree0

Its a trial to see if he can play at a higher level with option to buy for 15 grand that could rise to 17 and a half with add ons

Agree0 Disagree2

How many sub appearances has he made will we really miss him?

John

Agree0 Disagree0

Guy who badly needs a run of games, right decision for once am pretty sure we will cope without him for at least a month

Agree1 Disagree0

Spl cant spent 15k on a player so whats the chances of cowdenbeath! plus his wages on top of that ! THINK
ballyboy

Agree0 Disagree0

Boy needs games to get fit again to return to levels that had all rangers fans excited.Few games and goals under his belt then back to wearing light blue of rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Another shocker from Super Ally, 'Go Away Go Away Go Away'. Will never cut it as a manager!! John F

Agree0 Disagree1

Hemmings is as one other poster said is only gone on loan for the month of January which is not daft as he has only come back from a long injury, so rather than simply train over the next four weeks Cowdenbeath have agreed to play him during the month which will help him gain match sharpness quicker.
If come Feb/March he is still on loan then questions need perhaps to be asked if Sandaza is still impersonating a player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen Hemmings in some of the training games and to be quite honest, he isnt up to much. Had a good three games when he scored but better looking for new talent like McKay

Hearts defender Ryan McGowan in Rangers link as he closes in on short-term deal in China

McGOWAN will sign a contract with Shandong Luneng in the next 24 hours - but could be free to clinch another big money move to Ibrox in September.
McGowan only moving on short term deal to end of their season and then able to speak to other clubs under freedom of contract, interesting stuff Ed.
AJM. {The Ed039's Note - Whats the sense of the Chinese club paying £400k for him for short term deal? Its a strange one but I read it this morning as well)

Believable24 Unbelievable56

Page filler rubbish. Rangers are doing nothing this transfer window or next, as in previous windows, but this guff is rolled out to give us something to talk about whilst other clubs do serious business.
McCoist clearly stated nobody contacted the guy.

Agree1 Disagree1

"could be free"
"speak to other clubs under freedom of contract"

A nothing story. If reports are correct McGowan will pocket around Ł1m for 11months work.If it works out why should he walk away and return to Scotland.Remember, he's Australian. He's a damn sight nearer his home & family in China than in Scotland.
Also remember that if we sign a player over 21 we may need to let one go as we're only allowed 22.

Agree0 Disagree1

Ł20k per week tax free in China, we can't afford to match that to play in D2 next season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Believe it was Keef jackass whos name was behind it must be true, he is sports writer of the year. And didnt he get it spot on aboot the MOTHERWELL BORN BILLIONAIRE WHOS WEALTH IS OF THE RADAR!

Agree0 Disagree0

A think there will be people to realisie I.e. Kevin Kyle who's contract expires 6 month

Agree0 Disagree0

Having worked in Edinburgh very recently. A hibee claiming to know him advised that he would be a 'Ger' within 2 years!

Maybe coincidental but no benefit to a hibee to make this up!?
