Reports on follow follow by one of the ITK posters saying both Davis and Defoe done deals and both will be on the plane on Monday with the rest of the squad.

Kamara and Jones confirmed on 4 year deals!
Pleased with these 2, up there with the best performers across the league this year.

Excellent signings at no transfer fee and massive potential. Cover Kent and coulibaly if they leave. Defoe would be a great signing if he's interested. Davis will slip into team like a glove.

Coulibaly was brilliant at the start of the season just never got over his injury, not fair to call him mince can see he's got absolutely no confidence but we know how good he can be.

Coulibally is an awful player. Constantly running in circles in the midfield and always at least 10 yards off the oposition player.

Kamil is nowhere near inexperienced. He has been used by Pool 1st team on numerous occasions. He has played Polish U21, U23 and full international many times. Saw him last season gainst France. Outstanding. Crosses he was very cool and shot stopping best I've seen. We know shagger getting on and great replacement. Alnwick stays no. 2.

No club ever offered £7m his transfer market value is currently £1.5m according to transfermarket. com who are very accurate. He hasn’t played in BPL or left for a big few million from other club and doesn’t receive a huge wage hence his value.
He’s done well up here and is probably worth almost double the £1.5m but not £7m . yet.

If (and it's a huge IF) we were to secure Kent for maybe another year, it leaves us with five natural left wingers - Middleton, Murphy, Grezda, Jones and Kent - with just one right winger in Candeias. Even 4-1 is baffling.

Parky, your comments regarding Coulibaly are bang out of order, the boy had injuries, then his father passed away, I accept your ignorance may be a contributing factor in your statement. The guy was playing out his skin for us before injury, many on here praising the ‘destroyer’.

Just my opinion I think the SPFL and English championship are pretty comparable. I believe we will lose Morelos this summer perhaps Tav this year too. I digress, I would seriously like us to consider McBurnie as, if it happens, a replacement for Morelos.
They are both 22 Morelos is physically more mature and a better overall player, Mcburnie is still growing into his frame and will improve more. Morelos is always going to leave, McBurnie would need a much greater incentive to leave. Right now Morelos Is 6 or 7 goals a year better I think that difference will close.
I've never been one to advocate players just because they bleed red, white and more importantly, blue but in this case I believe it would be a great move by us. Now come on guys mash the disagree.

A better standard and more competitive are 2 different things. Take the old firm out of the league, and we have 1 super competitive league. Just like every top league though, only a few can win the league, but go down 1 and it's much more open.

LDM17, a more 'competitive' league doesn't make it a better league. Many leagues at all levels have a different winner most seasons, but the vast majority of them are duff leagues. Means nothing.

If defoe signs he will hopefully help morreles become lethal in front of goal. 200 goals for various teams. Has the knowledge to pass. Better at finishing and morreles would be a 15 / 20 million pound player if he kerbs the temper.

Skrtel would be a brilliant CB for us, if u ever watched him his Ariel dominance is unreal, hopefully his composure in defence would help Goldson become even better than he has been as I feel at some points him and worrall have got themselves is some tangles. Even at 34 he’s still fantastic. I could see his wages being a massive stumbling block though.

asayouth katic and goldson are good defenders so to replace them that will take a lot doing and lot of money.
If we can sign skrtel on free contract then that is fair enough but his wages will be a stumbling block.
As for katic not being good enough who ever said that above got to disagree you with on that one i would say this lad can be even better than goldson.
