ed (why no mention of walter taken £50000 for 2 months work big dj hately etc all creaming a wage also SDM companies in profit for 1st time in years looks like he is the real winner and not duped

Believable64 Unbelievable12

SDM gave away a basket case with £130m debt and a £50m EBT case for £1.

Who was duped? Answer= only the fans.

Whyte knew why he was there.
Remember Whyte's ex con mate on front page daily rag stating Whyte would have a guy all ready to buy the assets as usual. (Good old switcheroo). Cue Whyte bringing Green to D&P.

Ally was for quitting in admin. Hately wrote about him ready to jump in his paper. SDM drove from Edinburgh to Murray Park down the M8 and told him stuff in his shell like that couldn't be trusted to phone call, email, SMS or paper.
Next day Ally was upbeat, and came out with 'we don't do walking away'

Promised £800k? Promised shares?
Who is Ally's shares with? McColl or mathers?

Agree4 Disagree0

The club were not in debt to the tune of £130m when Murray gave away the club

Agree2 Disagree2

Just asking a question, who thinks SDM and Lloyd's (running the club for three years using ticketus loans) could have conspired to find Ticketus cash as the solution to paying off one creditor, Lloyd's, their £18m debt before the crash?

Lloyd's got their money and walked. Ticketus should be chasing Lloyd's. (If it was planned).

Agree0 Disagree1

The club was never gave away.
It cost £18m, paid to creditor Lloyd's bank from the only source £18m could come from. Ticketus were effectively buying the club through front man Whyte. Is Ticketus Blue Pitch Holdings?

Agree2 Disagree0

@ all posts you's have all got some imaginations are you's for real Lloyd's ripped of ticketus sdm told mccoist something then mccoist stays then we have ticketus already down 18m so they buy shares into the newco under different name but the best of all we wer in debt to the tune of 130m plus the 50m ebt pmsl

Agree1 Disagree3

BDO a few months back said the debt was about £130m and the HMRC EBT case was for £47m so that's true. I cannot believe Craig Whyte racked all that up in six months. No, he was handed it by SDM/ Lloyd's. But there hadn't been accounts for three years (2 sets accounts).
Did SDM/ Lloyd's find D&P first? And then they found Whyte?

Cause D&P were sitting at the table buying the club with Whyte long before they were administering the bankruptcy.

Did SDM/ Lloyd's know Whyte was getting the £18m from ticketus?

Agree1 Disagree2

Rangers debt could have rose to around 130m tax case included hmrc wer chasing more than half of that but that's right we won the tax case so stop talking out your ar$e so effectively what you's are saying rangers total debt was 200m cause whyte paid Lloyd's 18m aswell absolute nonsense

Agree2 Disagree1

@4 your missing the point about gave away. Yes of course there was money involved however the point I was making was the way in which the club was sold. Murray didn't do any due diligence on Whyte and let him have the club without properly checking on him. All the board at the time even warned him about Whyte but he still went ahead with the sale.

Agree0 Disagree0

A lot of people on here have wild imaginations. never heard so much ill informed nonsense does any you look into things before you hit out "does anyone else think this" then just make up your own lies. its pathetic

Agree1 Disagree0

Murray knew everything on Whyte. It was a protracted sale for six months, as the press stated, for due dilligence. Alastair Johnstone said he gave Murray a private investigators report on Whyte, inches thick, detailing all his 26 admins and liquidations.

Evening ed. Ed we do not really see much posting from you and I as a gers fan would like to know your views of what the hell is going on at our club. it is a total and utter mess and believe it or not I am just back from new York and the rangers saga is even talked about quite a lot over there and the feeling is that this is only heading in one direction and that is towards another administration. the americans are confused as to why the rangers board are sanctioning such big wages for players we clearly do not need. we should be able to win this league with under 21 players the likes of Robbie Crawford nicky Clarke and lewis McLeod etc. also I think this whole mess is going to come to ahead at the agm there is going to be a lot of angry shareholders demanding some answers from craig mather and brian stockbridge. I am not going to go into who I think is wrong or right in this whole mess because I quite simply do not know what to or not what to believe anymore.

disgruntled gers fan. {The Ed039's Note - I have said all along that the business plan is wrong, everything is wrong, but the hard questions arent asked as long as 3 points keep getting picked up, cash should have been stock piled, youngsters and journeymen should have been the way forward, guys like Scott Gallagher, Barrie McKay and Robbie Crawford should be hardened pro's by the time Rangers are in the premiership, guys like Nicky Law, Richard Foster, Ian Black etc were luxuries we couldnt and cant afford and unless I am missing something then it continues to keep eating a hole into the finances at Ibrox. The boardroom is all wrong and the management and scouting system for the football team is all wrong, but again as long as 3 points are picked up in the last and next match then the majority wont really be bothered, thats the way it is, I have no influence over it and the only thing I will say, and I cant help it, is I will support whoever crosses the white line on a Saturday or Sunday but something significant needs to change for the long term benefit of Rangers)

Agree2 Disagree1

Still everyone ignoring the £50000 for two months work! If there is change it should be complete change 'one out all out' board and management and none of them allowed to darken our door again!

Agree1 Disagree1

If the board paid ws that ammount then it was them that decided the wage structure so ws only took what he was due

Agree0 Disagree1

The board did that because they knew that if they had ws onboard then the supporters were more likely to go along with them, all the doubters said walters there, it will be ok, that's why the board did it, so why did walter do it?is money the answer?

Hi ed; here is the bit I meant to quote I hope this clears this up.

There are other items within the accounts that merit a mention. £5. 7M of costs have been written off against the Share Premium account (note 23) with the narrative 'Costs incurred in relation to fundraising' but it is unclear how this significant figure has been incurred.

A fair amount you will agree, this amount has been written off! Can anybody explain! As I am confused

RR

Believable10 Unbelievable9

@op me personal I think that 5.7m was used to pay back the money for the assets

Agree0 Disagree0

This is a very good point.
The IPO prospectus estimated the flotation costs at £2.5m
The audited accounts have it at £5.7m.
No explanation of where the missing £3.2m went. Such a discrepancy might warrant an explanatory note.
Any shareholder fan going to the AGM should ask that as a question from the floor.

Agree0 Disagree0

Many questions to be asked -1. why such a high figure and how does it compare with simiolar public offerings, 2. who received the 5.7million and do they have any connections to Green, Stcokridge and co?

Sorry ed: I meant "missing" as in not clear in the breakdown of amounts stated, if you get a chance read the bit about the £5M that is not accounted for in the breakdown, it shows as an amount in the accounts but apparently nobody knows what it was used for? Maybe the sun is getting to me! I am sure their will be more to come before the AGM.
