Said last night barisic fee was agreed and Declan John would go to Swansea on loan. Still expect windass to move on to Ipswich for around 2 million. Also looking at possible loans deals if Lafferty deal can’t be done.

Think we have lots of options in this area now, Windass needs to do more to make the Central attacking mid his own, he is wasted on either wing so for me he is competing with Arfield, Ejaria and Dorrans for that role and we could sell him with little detriment to the team, I do like him though and think he will have a good career just wish he was having more impact on the pitch.

Waghorn is not worth 8mil, that's just the english market proving its fecked up. In the real world he's not even worth a quarter of that. You can't expect windass to be worth much more when he struggles to make an impact in the majority of games. Windass like mckay, holt, garner, pena, herrera etc etc etc will never be good enough if we want to win titles👍.

I think this could be a fantastic signing. While I thought we were excellent yesterday one of the area's I find concerning is the lack of a left footed player anywhere in our defence. I thought a couple of times yesterday the ball got stuck in that channel and we struggled to clear as neither defender where natural left footed players.

Barisic will be a great signing Its about quality more so than quantity!
Unlucky against Aberdeen and ref made a massive "blunder" with the decision and it won't be the first so we really need to finish games off
Love Gerrard I can see the team is taking shape already pressing high hopefully it is only going to get better!
A couple of players still need to sign elsewhere or at least go on loan for game time
Getting Barisic and Jack Simpson will be good quality additions and the defence will be complete
Looking for a creative/ playmaker and a striker and that will be us sorted

Why do Hearts want Wallace? They’ve signed a LB, he’s no kicked a ball in 10 months and struggling to get back from this injury. I’d bet Hearts are in no way interested in Wallace and you’ll be lucky to shift Wallace from his final year of really good money.

We've currently got English, scottish, welsh international left backs add barisic and that would be a Croatian international. Not easy to keep all 4 happy. For me i'd move Flanagan to right back his natural position and play john at left back.

Tbh, Tavernier, Flanagan and John are all fullbacks so I get what you’re saying (Wallace is injury prone and unlikely to play for us again with the quality we have infront of him now - IMO) .
But I feel the opportunity to sign this guy for 2m is not one we should pass up. He looks sheer quality and fits the mould of Gerrards team (High work rate, versatile and physical) .

We need a striker ASAP. Rumoured to be spending over £2m for the Croat LB but we are messing about over a few £100k for Lafferty. When Morelos went off we had no genuine goal threat. That needs addressed more than any over position.

Agree there are other areas we could be strengthening before a new LB but Barisic is a no brainer for me. Can operate at Left Back, Left wing and Centre Back. Also has a fantastic delivery from set pieces which currently looks like an important aspect of our team. I like John but I reckon this will see the end for him and LW (if true) . Trust the manager.

Imo if we did sign Barasic our best XI wouldn't include tav as much as he's a decent player Flanagan at RB is superior. Even for the sheep goal yday I feel he's too slow getting out to close.

I think this guy looks some player. John is a good player too but this guy different class. Granted I’ve seen him twice. Think we badly need a decent striker. Lafferty would be a good player but I would still want someone else. Morelos isn’t worth the risk anymore imho.

I would like to see SG at least try something different with Tav, everyone knows how dodgy he can be at RB but I am also sure a lot of people will agree that going forward he can cause a lot of problems for a lot of teams, his delivery at times is really really good if he didn't have to travel the whole length of the pitch to do it you might see even more out of him without the concern at the back. So what if he plays back 4 of Barisic, Katic, Goldson, Flannigan And push Tav to RM or RW if you like Murphy, Kent or Middleton LW Arfield, Jack and Coulibaly CM'S obviously Morelos or Sadiq up top, I know he isn't just going to drop Candeias but at least try Tav at RM to see if it's worth it, he has said he wants 2 quality players in each position so Candeias would just have to try and prove that he is better and vice versa, just my opinion though.

Rangers came off second best today when it appeared some much challenges, well to say the least weren't at all juicy but contentious of causing serious injuries
From Katic head knock, where it split his eye open to the rough and tumble of some tackles on Lassana Coulibaly then there was the Ryan Jack knock!
Why is all this just allowed to happen?! There certainly would've been a fair share of cards sent out possibly a sending off if it were to be an English Premier game
Thought it was supposed to be a "non contact sport" these days
Don't get me wrong I like a tackle here and there but not with the full intentions of trying to injure and it did seem at times that this was what some Aberdeen players were trying to do.
