True supporters follow there team anywhere and everywhere but I for agree with the blue order the union bears and Charles green boycott united away and I also will never step foot in an spl away ground again especially the ones who voted us out the spl. The rangers fans on here saying there going no matter what have very short memory's and no one is gonney come in and invest millions of pounds into Scottish football anymore in fact it wasn't even Murray who done that either it was the bank of Scotland who constantly done it through mr Murray borrowing it like a paid day loan so my advice is support your team but don't give any spl team money put right back into ibrox rangers now rangers the rangers forever watp we don't do walking away (ed please post first post of the year)

Believable44 Unbelievable75

Well dont go then we dont need supporters like u anyway ur not needed or wanted and probs dont go to games anyway

Agree2 Disagree1

What a load of cobblers.true supporters follow their team but you wont because of some supporters groups and green? So rangers fans can only go to Kilmarnock in the SPL? And dont forget all the SFL teams who voted for the third division.Try and have an original thought.

Agree2 Disagree0

Support your team..... we dont do walking away...... refusing to go to away grounds is NOT supporting the team and most def IS walking away its walking away from supporting your team

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm glad to see misinformed 'supporters' such as yourself will never set foot in an SPL ground. I know this is getting boring but there still appears to be a minority who don't get it. Rangers were not voted out of the SPL, their application to join the SPL was refused. By all means be free to protest but do so for valid reasons.

Making a point against clubs that shafted us is fine, people are entitled to do as they wish. Green sat in on the meetings so is best placed to know how to react.

Also why if someone does not got to games they are not a true fan? Gers have fans all over the world and too many fans for the stadium capacity. The main point is gers have a massive fan bas, but if you are saying they can be fans as dont go to games then we clearly are not big club are we

Agree0 Disagree1

Ever club apart from killie voted against us so good luck with your boycottagainst everyother teamWHY did we boycott the next game against united (after the double money game)then we could have taken the morale high ground

Agree1 Disagree0

Totally agree with the op i will follow follow any where but defo be boycotting the who tortured my beloved club. w.a.t.p r.t.i.d

Agree0 Disagree1

Mate you are clearly a "follow the leader" gullible sheep.Stay away then and people who want to go will take your place.

Agree1 Disagree0

No one tortured your club other than those who were entrusted to run the club on a daily basis. Those people broke every rule in the book, and i include mr murray as well, who are now paying the cost for those misdemeanours and rightly so.Just because rangers who were known as the established club, their fans and directors
assumed they would be exempt from any form of retribution.

The days of rangers football club being favoured are gone, be grateful you have a team to follow and accept the penalties inflicted upon you, and if you have to take your anger out on someone do it against those who are really responsible for the state your club found itself, not the sfa, spl, or the other clubs in scotland, you know who they are.
jimbhoy {The Ed039's Note - The thing is Jim, the people you refer to are not currently being punished for their misdemeanours, its the average Rangers fan and the current owners who are now being left to pick up the pieces while SDM gets on with his own interests and Craig Whyte sits plush in his Monaco hideaway)

Well said ed

We have to stand together in the name of rangers and refuse to attend tannadice. It's no coincidence this has been approved by McCoist and the rest of the management. The facts are simple. Yes, it was only right rangers started again in division 3. Most gers fans saw this as the right thing to do as under no fault of our own but quite simply our previous owner refused to pay the PAYE and NI. For this, a new company obtained the old company assests and the team starts again. However, was it really necessary for Stephen Thomson to be so outspoken with regards to rangers as a club and their position? There was no need to lambast the club and their supporters, label the club as so called cheats (which later proved to be false) charge the rangers support twice for the one fixture and call for every club in Scotland to hand out the biggest punishments possible for a club which was run by someone who (according to the SFA) was unfit to run a football club. The real victims were not the other clubs, it was the rangers fans who put their hands in their pockets for the 10 months whyte held office. The utd fans threatened to boycott if rangers were voted back in to spl and Thomson (on more than one occasion) said there is no place for rangers. So why now are they now so bothered that we don't go? That's what they wanted did they not? Their own fans made their position loud and clear. It was 'we don't want rangers'....fine then!

Agree0 Disagree0

If only you had a voice sooner ed!

Agree0 Disagree0

We will welcome any rangers fan to tannadice, if you don't want to come and support your team, then fine, rangers will still receive cash from the paying fans... thats ok as it is a new year, and it is going to a well known charity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Performances away from home are dire, the team needs vocal encouragement, its self defeating in my opinion. Fans should be packing Tannadice and making it like a home game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give it a couple of years and the fudd will have died down. There won't be a SPL soon anyway - just one homogenous league hopefully without Regan or Doncaster in command. (Although I suspect Longmuir is most likely to be forced out).

Interesting that if the new structure starts next season then Rangers' promotion push would be in vain. Unless, and you know where you heard it first, a place in the new second division is offered to the winners of SFL3!

Agree0 Disagree0

Only a gullible sheep would defend Murray.

The chief Architect.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are we listening to Green? He has been invloved with Rangers for 5 mins and now telling us where to go and where not to go! We done this to ourselves. Get out support the team and get on with it. We are what we are now!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope you never come to my clubs stadium again, costs us a fortune every time you are there to repair the damage you cause, would rather give the seats to local schools than have people like you anywhere near a football ground. Once again you have no idea what you are talking about. NOBODY VOTED YOU OUT...YOU WENT BUST AND DIDNT MEET THE CRITERIA TO JOIN THE SPL...simples...You didnt meet the criteria for the SFL either but they let you in.

If Kenny Miller says he would come back, Ally should talk to him about returning in September, we are lacking up front.

Believable63 Unbelievable41

Why not just give him some money and save getting him kit.Last payday hunter.

the rangers cant sign anyone over the age of 17

Agree2 Disagree1

He would have to be released from his contract if we were to sign him in september otherwise would need to wait to jan and put a bid in.

Money grabbing so and so, just out for one last payday. Hope its somewhere else that gets fleeced.

07 Jan 2013 19:39:45
We are lacking up front you say? We are also lacking in midfield, defence & the goalkeeping department!!

Agree0 Disagree0

We can sign people before september the thing is we can't register them until the 3rd september, eg sign on 25th august give him a weeks holiday unpaid and register on 3rd september

heed rtid

Agree0 Disagree0

We shouldnt be signing players of this age. We need to stick with our youth and scout a few more youngsters for when the ban is up. Hate saying it but we should be following celtics example in the transfer market, scout abroad for young emerging talent and bring them in to sell on in a few years for a profit. The days of us and any other scottish team buying 30+ year olds should be long gone.

We should get the younger players in that are decent and the better they do never know end up selling them later make money from it rather than waist money on players that don't perform good enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh i just hope none of our youngsters have picked up any tips from the great kenny sitter while hes been here training. Joke of a centre forward hope he never returns.

Rangers to take young goalkeeper Mathew Ryan on trial, Ryan has previously trialled with Tottenham Hotspur, West Bromwich Albion and has received a lot of interest from Hull City.

Should he impress at Rangers there is a good chance manager Alex McCoist could snap Ryan up as a free agent after September 1, 2013 when the embargo on them buying players is lifted.

The present deal was brokered by Central Coast Mariners General Manager of Football, Lawrie McKinna, who was in his native Scotland over Christmas.

I was in Scotland over Christmas spoke with (Rangers Manager) Ally McCoist about Mathew Ryan, ť McKinna said.

It is a credit to Mat and to our Club that Ally was well aware of Mat's ability and potential and immediately offered for him to join Rangers for a training spell.ť

"Mat is eager to take up the opportunity and we are sure he will learn a lot from the experience.
AJM.

Believable19 Unbelievable40

The fact you have our managers name as Alex McCoist makes me question the truth in this rumour

Agree1 Disagree0

Its in a few papers - the guy can play upto 3games as a trialist when his contraxt expires in march

Agree0 Disagree0

What age is he? {The Ed039's Note - 20 years old)

Agree0 Disagree0

07 Jan 2013 19:43:11
So he wasn't good enough for Tottenham, WBA or Hull & he ends up at us? Sounds about right for our scouting network!

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2013 23:23:24
Kid is easily good enough, you will be lucky if he even considers joining you where your at now, Australian football commentator Mark Bosnich (played for Manchester) laughed at Mat for even considering a move because he is going bigger places
