FollowFollow14 I Heard a rumour last week that celtic where interested in Lafferty at the time i like others laughed it off but If he was seen on the plane coming to Glasgow then who knows now? cause surely Rangers don't want him back and probably couldn't afford him anyway unless it was on loan. If it was it was him probably just up visiting family or friends more like.

Kyle lafferty no thanks. Kyle Bartley on the other hand? Showed real passion the last time and still only 24 so fits with current ethos. Not much game time with Swansea either. Could be accused of looking backwards here though!

Yes that's the amount they want for Devolment fee for both players according to SSN but It hasent been confirmed that We are willing to pay that amount when we can get them for nothing in the summer, Rangers are looking to pay at most half that fee, looking to pay £150,000/£200,000 max to get both players now or are willing to wait till the summer.

SR1872 if we wait till summer as it looks like what we have done now buy signing them both on precontracts then we will be paying no fee for them in the summer, please correct me ed or gers fans if i am wrong?
{Ed039's Note - As they are under 23 a development fee must be paid as compensation, this has been rumoured as being as little as £35k per player, Rangers & Stanley can come to an agreement on this fee or if they cant a tribunal decides)

Thanks ed039's for clearing that up, yeah that was my understanding of that matter too, it was reported of a development fee of £60,000 for them both in the summer but No transfer fee.
