According to 4lads had a dream, there is an option to buy on McCrories loan, but, there's no set price and it's all down to if rangers want to sell. Hopefully true.

There's absolutely NO panic here regarding ross mccrorie going to be definitely sold to pompey, once his year long loan deal is up. It will only be if steven gerrard wants to sell him, that portsmouth will be given first option, to buy young mccrorie. Supporters are needlessly panicking and getting away ahead of themselves here. If he does the business down at fratton park, there's no way stevie G will sell him. I think its a cracking decision by gerrard by sending him out on loan. I can only see the positives and a big win win for everyone concerned. let's relax and wait and see how this pans out, before jumping to any conclusions.

It’s true, the loan deal has a clause that if rangers want to sell at the end of the loan Portsmouth have first option to buy. Other clauses include that they have to be in Championship for first option to buy. But at a price rangers decide next summer is value. If Portsmouth stay in league 1 then they have the right to match any other offers. Other news is Dorrans might get another chance, he played today behind closed doors and begged for a chance to prove his worth. Murphy also played today in the view to give an extra day rest before the Europa league match.

Coop, i think we all know there is no panic regarding McCrorie, we are all intelligent enough to realise the loan deal. In Gerrard we trust. We are the people.

I for one am liking the excitement that the Pompey fans are showing over McCrorrie shows we are producing good player for the Hummel TC. This will bring him on so much.

Much as I like McCrorrie as a player and hope he has a good year at Portsmouth and returns to us a better player, the development of young players at ours or any other club is always very difficult. Every year we hope that one of our becomes the next Ian Durant or Barry Ferguson. The truth is it takes players of that quality to get into a Rangers team with consistency. McCrorrie is not in that league but hope he can prove me wrong.

the player would also have to agree any move

he’ll be back in sure with experience of playing every wk in
a tough league and will be better for it

and better for us.

The stuck, no we're NOT all thinking there's no panic on mccrorie's loan deal. Have you actually read the comments on here regarding mccrorie?
I can assure you there's an element of panic amongst some, that think he's already away for good.

SG l everyone is entitled to have their view, u use the word panic others r concerned. We r entitled to be.
U believe only u r correct, , we are all wrong most off the time. That's why it's a rumour site.
In 2017 u said the boy would captain rangers, play hundreds of games and captain Scotland.

06 Jul 2019 20:12:13
That might still happen john25!

Just go to the Rangers site and read.

I ain’t panicking to be honest hope the boy proves me wrong but he ain’t a defender and as DM we have much better already don’t rate him highly at all but as I said hope he proves me wrong.

Mcrorie was an absolute rock last season when our results started to waiver. Reckon we should have kept him as imo he'd be in or around first 11 every week.

No panic, poor comment, we all know McCrorie needs 40plus games which he cannot get here this season but the fact remains that a slight majority or more feel that the lad is being both undervalued and underestimated by the management here, guys like McCrorie should be here far longer than the management team will be and if he goes down there and rips it up in a division where Aribo has just had a decent season at best then I expect the same red carpet rolled out upon his return. Obviously The challenge is his and I expect him to follow through however i stand by the comment that we should not be agreeing options to bury on any of our development prospects.

It's not 4lads, it's Chris Jack! They even confirmed he's the source - a journo!

Personally I don’t think we should be loaning squad players to the English third tier for development. If it’s purely for game time and fitness then fine but not to bring them on technically. I watched a few league 1 games last year and the standard is extremely poor with most teams bypassing midfield, I seriously doubt McCrorie will come back any better than he currently is.

I think it works well with boys like Rossiter than needs a run of games to build fitness but he won’t have come back any better than when he left.
