If rumours are to be believed Fernando Torres is coming out of retirement at 37 and announcing where he is signing and who for on Friday, the press are all over this and are saying he wants to link up with Gerrard again and is Joing Rangers, personally i think it will be a MLS side or Chinese side for one last big pay day but he said it's not about the money he's doing it for the love of football and he misses it.

If rumours are to be believed the 3 midfielder we are interested in veerman, German under23 lad and the guy from Rotterdam all look very decent and could be replacement ( long term for Davis) kamara and arfield.

I don't see vermeen happening as his price tag, the German boy possibly as he's free, I watched him the other day and was impressed, he's playing for Germany u21 tonight in euro final at 8 PM. thought the Dutch boy was going to cost a good few quid too or is this another 1.

If we get good money when selling I don't see why we couldn't afford the Veerman fee. If we buy him at 8.5 and he improves could be looking at a big profit in a couple seasons. Could be made easier if we bring in another bosman or 2. The lad ozcan is a bosman. Kamara will he all profit if sold, Hagi will at least double our money if reports are correct possibly triple. The 2 CBs we are being linked with would be under 4 million for both by figures quoted. Think we have an excellent transfer strategy past 2 to 3 years. Every young player that's arrived in Gerrard reign is worth more than what we paid. There is little value in Arfield, Davis and McGregor but they bring way more than money with their experience.

Could sell itten 3 million and get rid of other players like jones ect for 700k each ect would rather do that and raise 6 million than sell a First team player.
