EstConsultancy tweeted this an hour ago and are usually bang on with their info
Folk actually wanting David Murray back involved at Ibrox. Downright mental with no chance of happening.

Investment being sought and still a bit away from any sort of announcement.

06 May 2018 23:03:13
Good cause if David Murray returned I wouldn't

07 May 2018 00:25:52
I take it you never enjoyed 9 in a row and all the fantastic players he brought to the club?

07 May 2018 00:36:17
It’s not david murray!

07 May 2018 00:46:14
Im not sure Davd Murray would be legally allowed to return to Rangers. I think the SFA would have something to say about that.

07 May 2018 02:32:18
We’re in the mess because of him.

I don’t want him back near the place.

If you think for one minute selling Rangers for £1 was him treating us with a modicum of respect you’re deluded.

It’s honesty, clarity, passion from now on we need. Not those with an ego bigger than his bank balance.

I loved and lived 9 in a row but he jumped ship just like the others that are called rats.

07 May 2018 04:45:06
Clueless and terrible statement

07 May 2018 01:07:55
I for one can’t forgive Murray for what he done to our club and supporters! ’ It’s unforgivable 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

07 May 2018 05:29:56
And do u not think that it's hurting him just as much as it did with us David Murray will want the best for the club and yes Craig white duped him but if he wanted us away that much then why should he be interested in getting back involved with the club am all for it and remember the good auld days well thay will be back

07 May 2018 06:42:09
David Murray sold the club to white then our problems started, If Murray sold you a car and you didn't tax the car its not Murrays fault for selling the car in the first place!

07 May 2018 06:42:11
Est consultancy, if you’ve read it, says that he has no idea what the press conference is about then rants about Murray. No facts whatsoever.

07 May 2018 08:14:29
David Murray is one of the biggest chancers to have walked through the Ibrox doors.
He duped Craig Whyte, another total chancer.
Would chase Murray from anything to do with our great club

07 May 2018 08:21:14
I would welcome D Murray bk in a heart beat defo

07 May 2018 09:06:26
Smodge

Whyte did not dupe Murray. The Rangers board at the time warned Murray against selling to Whyte and said that they didn’t think Whyte had the necessary funds. Murray ignored this and sold to Whyte regardless despite promising the Rangers support he would only sell to a person with the clubs interests at heart. Murray also used the banks money to fund the signings and was the biggest benefactor of the infamous EBTs. Cannot believe some people still want him back after the damage this man done to the club.

07 May 2018 09:45:34
I would wecome david murray back as long as he splashed and let stevie spend his cash

07 May 2018 10:34:55
Disagree with you bindo, fair enough he sold to whyte and his legacy has been tarnished for that, but he didn't know what whyte was going to do, he was only due the bank 20+ million which is peanuts compared to the amount he's put in through the years. The reason he sold to whyte for £1 was on the terms that he clears the bank debt. And the ebts were not illegal when he done them, he didn't hide what he was doing, someone years later decides that it is illegal to do ebts. But at the time it was just a loophole that he used. I guarantee he deeply regrets selling to whyte and if he wants to come back and put money in to help take us back to the top then i would be delighted. He got criticism for the faults he done. But i tell you what, he deserves credit for the amount of good times he brought to our club.

07 May 2018 11:29:48
David murray new exactly what he was doing when he sold it to whyite he was desperate to get out of there with the pressure of the ebts. and let me tell you a we rumour that is 100% truth. murray has still got debt all over ibrox with adventures he started to take cash and never followed threw on them and the tax man was in a few weeks ago and it isn't good news am afraid will give finer details in dew course. if david murrey has any balls or soul he will donate 50 mill from his 150million net worth as he sold glasgow rangers down the river for a quid

07 May 2018 13:14:58
Bindo you are 100% correct he new what whyte did to everything he got involved in and ignored every warning

06 May 2018 20:12:13
Sorry should say Al Fayed

06 May 2018 22:31:28
wild rumours flying about regarding the presser tomorrow on fresh investment

i’ve heard whispers about sheiks at mar hall

fenway coming to the table

sir david murray coming back in

investors from Canada, Singapore you name it!

call me an old cynic but I reckon majority of fresh investment will be sourced from the new share issue ie the fans. there may be some fresh invearnest but folk talking about 20m+ coming in - let’s wait and see

i reckon it will take a lot to get rid of pena herrera alves and a few others

07 May 2018 00:27:55
Maybe, just maybe he is going to offer the money for existing shares, as according to what he said, he was releasing the cash from South Africa to do do. But then again, not everything you read is true.

06 May 2018 20:10:46
Put your money on the new investor being Al Fates, you heard it here

06 May 2018 20:51:08
If there’s an investor coming, it’s going to be somebody who has ties to the club, or possibly a supporter.

Why would anybody with no ties invest in a Scottish football club. We are a marketable club but all we make goes into running the club etc.

I’ll happily eat my words though.

06 May 2018 22:13:57
Well peeps time will tell tomorrow and we will see who's best rumour was true nyt nyt

07 May 2018 10:23:20
I am based in London and business people I know are talking about David Murray being on the property radar on Edinburgh with land sales . not sure if that could be a source of funding. But also told al fayed Wants in at ibrox Ashley has tried to use far East investors as a front for him . this is why DK has been quiet talki g to all parties . the results of these talks will be revealed later by DK. my gut says Murray is the main man .

07 May 2018 20:43:31
If morelos goes in the summer for chinese team then that coukd be another few million too maybe 8 if Chinese markets anything to go by. Not that i agree he is worth that amount

06 May 2018 18:03:16
Call me cynical but I think (my opinion, no sources) that tomorrows announcement will be about the new share issue. I think, infact I would go as far as to say I am 100% sure all this Murray or other investors is pie in the sky. If the last few years has taught me anything, its not to believe all the crap wrote about my club.

06 May 2018 18:21:20
I can't help that some have hyped up tomorrow's conference and will ultimately be left very disappointed.

When asked about finances for our new manager on Friday King simply replied that the board would continue investing and backing the manager. There was zero hint of an impending injection of cash from elsewhere.

Having said that I really hope I'm wrong.

06 May 2018 18:41:41
Follow you are cynical, I agree with you both though except Only I really really really hope all 3 of us are wrong.

06 May 2018 19:34:59
Ive never wanted to be more wrong pete

06 May 2018 19:47:17
Not saying tomorrow's presser has anything to do with this info. As some on here know I posted a while back about unvestment/ buyout. Today I found out that there is an offer on the table from a guy in the far East. Bears if this offer is accepted I can categorically guarantee we will win the league next season. There you go!

06 May 2018 20:22:35
If you don’t mind me saying FOLLOW. WE. WILL. Why are you on a rumours page then? .

MURRAY MONDAY IS ON THE WAY. SLEEP TIGHT

06 May 2018 20:40:52
Its not just a rumours page, its a banter page too. Game you are going to look very silly tomorrow mate.

06 May 2018 20:47:22
Follow we will, I’m pretty sure you also said Gerrard wouldn’t come.

06 May 2018 21:24:16
Silly for passing on info from 2 well connected Rangers sources on a rumours page. Good shout.

06 May 2018 21:33:06
You must have me mixed up with someone else mate.

06 May 2018 22:18:55
Heard today that it was Sir David Murray who financed the deal to take Steven Gerrard to Ibrox.

06 May 2018 22:24:16
Game of thrones, sorry to burst your bubble mate but I can assure you that there will be no investment from David Murray or anyone else announced tomorrow, Rangers are still looking for investment however this is not imminent and there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to obtain investment. we all have to have patience and allow the board and new incoming board members the time to sort the investment side of things out which should be completed by the 1st June. New board members will be announced tomorrow along with the share issue.

06 May 2018 23:07:13
Douglas Park financed the deal for Gerrard he promised a new manager and stuck to his promise

06 May 2018 23:17:59
Dave king admited it himself if you read the quotes there is no new investor and the team will work with wats avalable. And why does david murry even think he is welcome within 100 mile he ****ed the club bottom line no two ways anout it any n who can say otherwise is off there rocker

07 May 2018 05:47:04
Colster hope your information about us winning the league next year if this investment comes in, is from a better source than your signed and sealed kit deal rumour

07 May 2018 07:04:43
IOM yeah mate I know . got a bit of egg on my face with that one. you'd think I'd learn😂😂
However this one isn't going away. This isn't a taxi driver info. I'm only passing on what I've been told and this guy is genuinely excited about this. An offer has been made but wants the full shooting match. I got told in April King wants out and the board are supposed to be considering this offer. don't know who the guy is . Just know he is from Asia.

07 May 2018 09:51:53
Apologies if it wasn’t you follow we will!

06 May 2018 17:50:10
From someone in the know:

Tomorrow will see a financial announcement of investment that will top the Gerrard appointment. Two investors are coming in from afar as rumoured with the resignations, but the return of Sir David Murray and/ or at least his money is going to be the headline.

06 May 2018 19:52:21
Another load of rubbish

06 May 2018 20:16:18
Tomorrow is going to be about more of the same investment that Pedro got, nothing more am afraid

06 May 2018 22:39:35
why would people need to resign to let other people in? There is no limit to the number of directors (providing there are more than 2 shareholders) .

Smacks more of a falling out between king and the people who left.

06 May 2018 23:08:03
Clicked agree but hope were wrong

07 May 2018 11:23:11
Hibsboy, you said Gerrard was ‘rubbish’ when I posted it last Friday.

Just because you don’t want something to happen, doesn’t mean it’s reality. That is literally delusional.

06 May 2018 17:46:48
Does anyone know what time the press conference is tomorrow?

Really hope it's about investment and lots of it.

06 May 2018 13:42:20
Just a rumour I heard but apparently rangers are in talks with Glasgow council about 're opening govan train station. Network rail have no plans but will listen to offers.

06 May 2018 14:28:12
Not a rumour in papers last week

06 May 2018 14:35:21
You are well behind with the times, this was announced a couple of weeks ago

06 May 2018 15:36:03
Marco, did you see Mr Traynor on Friday?

06 May 2018 16:01:45
I don't read the papers so never knew. Is that the same traynor that left rangers in 2013?

06 May 2018 16:29:39
Marco, Traynor is still at the club. Unfortunately.

06 May 2018 16:35:20
Traynor was slinking about in the background of the behind the scenes footage available on Rangers TV Marco, I believe he is now a paid consultant rather than employed direct and that must be something to be reviewed by the board ASAP surely! Well worth checking out RTV anyway mate if only for Alice Hedworth 😊😉

06 May 2018 17:18:15
Traynor is on your feet

06 May 2018 13:08:00
Spoke to a mate who knows James Mcarthurs dad, McArthur hasn't signed a new deal at palace as he's homesick, he wants back up the road. Make of that what you will.

I like MaCarthur but my problem is if we sign him and and Arfield and make Murphy's deal permanent then our 4 across the middle are all very late 20s/ early 30s.

Going off topic aswell does anyone agree that Ross McCrorrie is a cracking defensive midfielder in the making NOT a centre half?

06 May 2018 13:23:42
Stuart, I agree that McCrorrie’s best position is defrnsive midfield

06 May 2018 14:52:56
I can see McCrorrie is going to flourish under stevie g if he turns out half the player he was it's win win win

06 May 2018 14:54:49
The word earlier in the week was McArthur himself said that he signed a 4 year deal 2 years ago yet Transfermakt still says he's out of contract in June. Got to assume the player is right so it seems unlikely that he's an option much as I'd like to see it.

06 May 2018 15:17:10
Didn't McArthur just come out and say there's still 2 years on bust contract? Pretty sure he did

06 May 2018 23:28:13
Never heard him come out and say that lads but you may well be right. Just passing on what my mate said.

06 May 2018 10:00:18
Quite a bit of talk going about that Fenway are going to invest in our club as well as Murray. Does anyone know the reason for king wanting a press conference on Monday.

06 May 2018 12:12:43
Deem, King said at the Stevie press conference he would reveal the financial details tomorrow (Monday) .
