Is Kent currently the weakest link in our team?
Now here me out before the hysteria kicks in.
He missed a couple of glorious chances.
He's not beating the full backs anymore .
Always running into traffic with the ball or losing possession.
Or am I being to critical because of the way he started the season and he's not currently reaching the high standards he set then?
Consistency is always a downfall of a winger.

I agree his form has dipped a little bit however he's still out main outball and in involved in most / if not all of our good play.
I get the impression he needs a goal tho.

He may need rested but he was the reason they were down to 10 men.
If he scores other than hitting the post he's a hero matter of inches. His form has dipped but think the week link last night was big helander unfortunately.

No chance he missed a few chances but there were not sitters also he’s a winger not a striker can take him missing now and again would say we do not have a decent replacement if his form dips tho as Jones will prob be off then we have barker would say we need another LW player.

His form has dipped a bit but then that"s wingers for you. Unlucky with the shot against the post. On another note I thought Morelos was superb last night. Great performance from him.

I agree, and yes the snipers will be out.
For all his obvious work rate, as a winger I can't recall him ever beating a full back with his many stepovers. They all seem to match him for pace, and his finishing is woeful.
On the plus side he works his ass off, and is able very occasionally to run beyond the defence. He clearly needs a rest though AND maybe more importantly a goal or 2.

Should drop him for a couple league games, try Roofe coming in from left as I don’t see him as a central striker in our team. Play Kent in Europa. Giving him a slight rest to get back to his best.

Kent may be a weak link, but we currently have a very strong chain holding the team together. Last night was a great performance, and one we'd have all taken before the game. We need to remember we were playing a really good side.
Meanwhile watching the other side point fingers and try to deflect from their result to ours is like watching Trump try and win an election through shouting and denial. Him and Lennon are two smears on the same butt: It's always someone else's fault. Never defeated; Always cheated!

I can't for the life of me work out, how we are sitting 9 points clear at the top of the league, top of our europa league, having not lost a game all season with all those under performing, uninterested players who have downed tools and are in huffs. The only thing that Gerrard can do is completely over hall the squad and coaching staff by kicking Morelos, Hagi, Kent, Barker etc out the squad and stripping Tav of the captaincy. There are a few others walking a thin line but as long as you guys are on top of it we will be fine. let's be honest here the best time to change things is when we are sitting top of BOTH leagues and unbeaten, I just hope Gerrard sees this or its time for him to go too, what do you think?

Definitely isn’t a weak link, he’s been quiet for a few games granted but he still keeps ticking over! He’s played a lot of games recently, he’ll hit form again he’s a quality player! It’s a long season, let’s judge him when we’re sitting with the league title come the end of the season!

Weak Link? Aye right then! That game was in the palm of our hand last night, Helander sold the jerseys twice. Morelos gave the ball away in the middle of the park for the equaliser, should have been booted into a corner to waste time. Kent's form may have dipped, but describing his finishing as "woeful" is just ludicrous.

Helander was our only to play a little below par against benfica
The lad d. m karlsson last nite against smell. tic tore them apart could be 1 to watch if jones barker etc off in jan or nxt summer.

Erm, don't you know Kent is above criticism on here?
No doubt that his form has dipped from his previous high standards (as per last year) but wouldn't say he was our weakest link. He looks a bit jaded and short on confidence but still works tirelessly for the team. He should have done better with his big chance.
Helander has been outstanding recently but struggled at times last night against very good players.
We looked totally dominant for most of the match but couldn't understand why we were still attacking with 10 mins to go at 3 - 1.
Most games recently we go into the corner and stay there.
Lesson learned for next game but i'm confident we'll get at least a draw from the at home.

1st of all his performance has dipped but he was turning in player of the month performances at the start of the season so it’s very difficult to replicate that every game.
He is better against better sides with the pace to run in behind. Wingers are confidence players but his movement off the ball creates space for others in the team.
If I was to be hyper critical I would say his finishing is poor and needs to improve but not the weakest link at all, I’d suggest Morelos gives the ball away far more often and has similar stats goal scoring wise.
Let’s just enjoy the options at our disposal.
