QPR sack Neil Warnock so who else is interested in Jelavic?? I don't get the reason behind the nonsense posts... 3 titles in a row... Enough said..
Believable5
Unbelievable3
Neil Warnock is a much better manager than McCoist
Agree5
Disagree10
May be caise he more experienced
Agree1
Disagree1
Neil Warnock is a future Celtic manager. Doesn't win gracefully and throws the dummy out the pram if they lose.
Agree9
Disagree0
That's not my point.... My point is do QPR still want Jelavic now that he has been sacked?!
And McCoist has been a manager for 6 months so bit of a stupid comment to make...
Agree2
Disagree0
Is that right. imagine that. mccoist in his first year of management and warnock might just retire now.

Vladimir Weiss on the box playing for Espanyol against Barca, i'd have the wee man back he looks sharp! But still think we need a good holding middle man to get us till the summer, any thoughts for good midfielders that are affordable to the bears?
Believable7
Unbelievable2
Yeah taken off at half time because he's pi5h
Agree5
Disagree11
Ian black!!
Agree5
Disagree12
With in reason..? Probably Ian black or somethin. Personally Id prefer to get templeton or murphy and would like to see edu or Davis take up that job when their back in good form
Agree3
Disagree6
Of course he's pi5h ya person ye, if he's playing in La Liga he must be then? Aye Edu playing better, with Davis there for continiuity to add Templeton for his energy would be the answer with Naisy out, but can we seal it? Would he go?
Agree5

U do know theres other teams than hearts ?

Weiss must be beelin - Stuck in Sunny Spain having to play against the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid when he could have been at ARBROATH today !
Agree6

The guy that said weiss must be good if he's playin in laliga is talking nonsense coz not everyone that comes from laliga is good just look at ortiz.

Nope
Gerry The Ger.
Agree6
Disagree1
Thst would be the final straw for me I cam handle watching s**te players but not that thug, he would be a cert to be sent off in old firm games
Agree9
Disagree2
Yes mate totally agree with that, can't see it happening though, but we do need a nidfielder of his quality, his game has picked up over the last couple of seasons? There is also the awkwardness of his challenge on Jelavic.
Agree6
Disagree3
The man is a thug! And to be honest not very good at football. Wouldn't get a game for Stranraer!! JBBEAR
Agree8
Disagree2
Are you joking? black is mince all he is good for is kicking players up and down the place
Agree7
Disagree1
No chance he is a dirty B*****D!
WATP
BIG CRAIG
Agree9
Disagree2
Agree what ppl and how that person have come up with that question about black but maybe that's what rangers are missing some one with a bit of hot head we don't have that right now our midfield , so I'm 50 50 I think.
Agree3
Disagree1
I think ian blacks quality he knows how to play football and knows when to put a hard challenge in when needed definetely take him at rangers
Agree4
Disagree7
You already have mcculloch and healy for kicking players up n down the park!
Agree7
Disagree4
Are people forgetting the guy was caught with cocaine in edinburgh nightclub last year. The guy is a f*d. Is this the kind of player we really want representing our club?? Him and O´Conner are a pair o junkies dnt want either of them at our club!! Would take James McArthur anytime tho. Deano WATP
Agree5
Disagree2
Get onto ur own page and talk sh@t, Healy makes one bad takle and listen to u?
Agree5
Disagree2
Sorry posted this on the wrong post... Ian Black is an absolute thug of a "player". He hates the Rangers fans. I wouldn't like to see him in our jersey.
Agree5
Disagree2
Knows how to put a hard tackle in when needed?. id rather someone that can take a good first touch has good skill and vision and can go past players for fun but if you are happy to have a rocket that thinks trying to end someones career because they are geting the better of you on the pitch is a good thing then good for you. you can sing your songs of hate and jump out of your seat cheering every time he dives in to a rash tackle but id rather see football played by footballers not idiots like him. end of rant. cheers ed.
Agree3
Disagree0
Why look for a "hot head". He's dross. Lafferty is a liability at times if your looking for a hot head. Big Jig... He serves absolutely no purpose apart from to play this Ian Black role. Even Naisy has a wild challenge or two in his locker. We need a player or two who can control a football and show some composure not idiots who kick anything above the grass with no quality. Hot heads lose games. Whittaker blew the malmo away leg. Jig blew St Mirren away a couple of weeks ago. Enough said.
Agree2
Disagree0
Hate him with a passion he was the one that crocked big jelavic and the guy is rotten at football which is most important. We already have a guy that is good for nothing more than kicking people Lee (i canny kick a baw cos am past it) McCulloch.

people on here saying o'connor rumour is nonsense. well it is not a rumour it is Fact he will be signing and rangers are also trying to bring in sandaza in this transfer window with jelavic almost certain to leave! i wish some fans would wake up and realise the situation we are in. the bottom line is that if a descent offer comes in for any of our players then they could leave.
Believable10
Unbelievable9
Idiots like you need to wise up
Our manager quoted he does not need to sell ya f*d
Agree7
Disagree5
Jelavic is not almost certainly going to leave, we don't require two strikers, yes if Jels did go which as i say will not happen till the summer, then and only then will we require two, one is suffice with Jelavic staying, Sandaza and Jels would be a great partnership just what Rangers need, mouth watering at the thought of two powerful strikers, as for O'Connor bridge too far dude, he's burnt oot! Midfielder required though????
Agree2
Disagree2
Sandaza a powerful striker? wipe your chin kid
Agree4
Disagree3
Mccoist did say that but that was after whyte told assembly members we had to free wages to bring players in.somebody gotta go.dont be fooled by fleck playing ally's no fan of his n i can still see him leaving
Agree3
Disagree0
You are the f*d if you believe what Ally has to say! HE was a great goalscorer, no bad pundit and abismal manager im afraid to say, he knows, I know most this forum knws that WE NEED TO SELL
Agree4
Disagree5
Ok he's not a powerful striker then, who would you bring in?
Agree1
Disagree0
McCoist isn't a sh*t manager, look at how our season started.. Amazing! Wee only started to suffer when injury and lack of fitness kicked in, not his fault!. Only negative thing to say.. He didn't use alot of players- McKay, bedoya, fleck etc.. Which might have been the cos of our 1st team player bein injured or unfit. They sem to be gettin games now but and comin along not to bad.
Agree1
Disagree2
Ur the f*d if you actually believe that. if it escaped that small brain of yours, rangers are in financial turmoil and if a reaonable offer comes in for jelavic then its out of the managers hands!
Agree2
Disagree2
Walter Smith on goals on sunday practically said that everyone at ibrox is for sale and have been for 3 years, no offers have been made thats why theres been no sales!!
Agree2
Disagree0
How is this fact? google gary o'connor rangers and you get nothing. Why? becuase its not fact. How would any deluded person who comes on this forum know unless they were either Ally Mccoist, Craig Whyte or Gary O'Connor.
Agree0
Disagree0
Rangers are not in financial turmoil you diddys they have a tax case pending and will only be in turmoil if they loose. if they win they will be an a vvvv healthy position. that said the days of big spending are over.
Agree1
Disagree1
Mcoist isnt "amazing" if he was we would be in the champions league but remember were not even in the europa league!
Agree0

Yes but we wont beat the tax case, there not going to just forget about the millions we owe!

I'm a Rangers fan and why are people lying about us being linked with Garry O'Connor and saying he's on the brink of signing, I very much doubt it when we're apparently about to sign Sandaza?
Believable9
Unbelievable7
Oconnor was mentioned on clyde as being in talks with gers
Agree5
Disagree7
There's a few hibs players ad take before him.
Agree3
Disagree3
O' conner will score goals for fun for us trust me, the days off big name stars are over
Agree6
Disagree3
You said 'apparently' about to sign Sandaza what makes that more beleivable, lmao?
Agree3
Disagree2
I am afraid the deal is basically complete small issue regarding compensation as he was on a short term contract with hibs
Agree5
Disagree1
Couple of media punters on twitter seem to think it might be happening.
Agree3
Disagree0
Random, have you heard Ally talk or mention O'Connor? He's to old and slow now, keep him at Hibs + he's no getting a game for that shower either...Hibs will go down this year? There a fact lol!!
Agree1
Disagree3
Rangers have been linked and still are for Oconnor various sites papers have said so therefor speculation is indeed not a lie .So if you are a Rangers fan as you say do not speculate on the merit of the rumour as your assumption could very well be a lie.f***in grow a pair and leave your name if you are so concerned and if we are apparently about to sign Sandaza as you put it IF WE DONT HAVE YOU LIED.What is apparent is the amount of FAIRWEATHER supporters on here and you yourself has become a prime example.Throw out negative comments without a chance of a reasonable response as no one knows who they are responding to.My name for the record is Shaun H.
Agree1
Disagree5
There are a few hibs players you'd take before him? Care to Share?
Agree3

Would not listen to radio clyde the station is a media outlet for septic, we all know about bbc(csc) scotland as well so unless you can verify or know the source dont listen esp to them
Agree0
Disagree4
I hope this rubbish about us signing Gary oconnor is not true. He is not what we need, I would rather sign des oconnor. Johnboy
Agree3
Disagree1
GET A GRIP!! you have no money!!! no players unless you sell!!!!
Agree3
Disagree2
Shaun H take a breath mate, deep breathing, you had a bad weekend? Lol! Chill out dude, what will happen will happen, it's all banter rumours, for the record my name is Jimmy C.
Agree5
Disagree1
Shaun H what are you talking about? I'm the original poster and my name is Earl, lol. Idiot, the Sandaza signing is APPARENT because it's been thrown about alot but i'm saying i'm doubting the Garry O'Connor link.
Agree3

08 Jan 2012 18:32:36
if oconnor is signing why is nobodyelse saying he is in part from supposedly jim delahunt?
Believable5
Unbelievable2
Phone clyde and ask him
Agree3
Disagree0
Because radio clyde are number 1 in scotland - they are first in the know. o'connor deal is near completion. accept it and move on! it has been mentioned on other radio stations also by journalists close to rangers.
Agree5
Disagree3
Is that the same accurate station that told us Scott Brown was signing for Rangers?
Agree0
Disagree0
No that was just big dj spouting his usual nonsense which yo can now hear on real radio
Agree0
Disagree0
08 Jan 2012 18:13:01
The only problems with us signing oconnor are that hes old, slow, drain on wages, fat, poor discipline, awaiting a court hearing over criminal allegations, clumsy, hot headed, not rangers class and generally quite a poor player.
I don't want oconnor, Boyd or sandaza but surely Boyd is the best of an awful trio.
Fraser
Believable11
Unbelievable9
You clearly no nothing sandaza is probably the best out of them
Agree6
Disagree6
Sandaza is the best out of the three ,Boyds recent form is shocking , I was never a fan of his when he played for us .Its time to move on, he did.
Agree3
Disagree8
U were nae a fan of Boyd, get a grip ya goat! Top goalscorer in the whole of the SPL, get back 2 me when fran sandaza gets 2 even a quarter of that!!
Agree9
Disagree3
Who told you that, your mum? Have you ever seen him play mate?
Agree5
Disagree0
Sandazza is undoubtedly the worst of all three, can someone please explain why he is good enough to sign for Rangers?
Agree5
Disagree6
Boyd recent form is poor he's not played u muppet u don't lose class
Agree5
Disagree4
O connor a good diver, should get lots of pens with him and aluko
Agree6
Disagree2
Boyd couldny kick his own ar5e sandaza is twice the player he is scores goals works for the team and a willing runner
Agree5
Disagree6
O'Connor regardless of his history would score a s**tload of goals for us and lets be honest thats about our target market now
Blueboy
Agree0
Disagree5
Boyd has never had class u muppet thats why when he has played he couldnt score goals in better leagues some people on here r thick
T-Bear
Agree6
Disagree2
Boyd and class in the same sentence, ask boro fans , forrest fans and turkish fans .He has not decided to play he was not selected because he is s*it
Agree5
Disagree2
Surprised Celtic don't want him for the diving but seeing that Stokes and Sammy manage fine you can understand why not!
Agree2
Disagree2
If boyd, sandaza and o'connor are the three names that are going about coming to rangers then i would rather mccoist put his boots on became a player manager.
Agree1
Disagree4
Its just a sign of the times when a club the size of rangers are being linked with these three numpties
Agree4
Disagree0
Sandaza is s**t, very poor mr whyte! Boyd is the one I would get and novo if we sell Jela
Agree1
Disagree5
They paid him 50 grand a week becuase he`s -s**t, the guys lazy which is the last thing this team needs but he scores goals for fun in the spl, id prefer o`connor because he has a point to prove and far more of a work ethic
stg
Agree2
Disagree0
Out all 3 Boyd is by far the best signing. Why are some Gers fans, and I suspect sum mhanks on here slating Boyd? As for Sandaza he's been good this season but I dont know if he's good enough for the Gers. And as for O'Connor, he's no gona go to jail for his charge so there's no as big a deal there as folk make out but like Sandaza I don't know if he could do it for Gers. However if Jela is leaving and we are as skint as everyone is making out - I would take all 3 of them.
Agree2
Disagree1
Because some Gers fans are smart enough to realise that standing in a box waiting for someone to put a ball in front of you doesnt make you a good footballer.
I enjoyed Boyds goals but the fact of the matter is that he as a whole was detrimental to the play of the whole team.
Of late the service to Jela hasnt been good and hes been struggling because of it Boyd couldnt lace his boots and would just stand there flapping his arms about in a huff because of the lack of service, rather than trying to involve himself and create goals.
If you think Boyd is a better player than Sandaza then yer just being blinded by his scoring record. He failed to prove himself in big games on every attempt.
We need team players just now as we are not good enough to carry luxury players like boyd.

What you all think of today's performance?
I know it was only Arbroath but we played some good football. I thought aluko was class, also think edu had a great game, it's about time certain fans got off his back. Was good to see kerkar get on an get a goal. I thought ally could have gave bedoya some game time.
What About Matt McKay? Not even in the squad today. Do youse think something has happened behind the scenes? People can say he just can't be good enough, but the guy is a regular in the Australia team and was Australias player ofthe year. They think he's a superstar over there.

He traveled with the team today because I seen him get off the bus on skysports

Aluko looks tricky as ever but also watched fleck closely today and thought he had a good game. His range of passing was good and he was also playing box to box. Thought he put in a good shift. Would love to see him kick on and get a few good games under his belt to see what he's really got in his locker.
Agree9

Fleck played well, games are what he needs, and he will come on leaps and bounds.also great credit to Arbroath, thought they played excellent, never gave up,passed the ball very well, good luck for the rest of the season,im sure Rangers fans agree.
Agree12
Disagree5
I would really like to see McKay get a chance when he is fit. Everyone keeps saying he's not good enough... Not good enough for what? the spl? I think not! The Aussies are 22 in the world scotland are 49 or somthing. This guy regularly plays for them so enough said he is defo good enough to play for the gets in the spl

I think Dougie Park will invest after all this mess is sorted out but for King he can't get his hands on any cash just now, there will also be others ready to invest soon after outcome

Malaga have more money than man city and if a silly offer was on the table then rangers will sell

Keepers hit their peak at 29 - 33 so anything less than £15m and i would say bolt
Agree1
Disagree6
Did mcgregor not just sign a new 5year contract alongside whittaker at the start of the season, surely that will improve the transfer cost for him.? 15million is just laughable, lets be realistic! if a team from the EPL come in for him who actually need a new keeper, then aye maybe we can milk the transfer but 7.5-9 would be a fair price i would say.
Agree4

Forgot to say my source for this rumour was todays sunday post! (not that it realy matters)

Whether he signed a new deal or not the fact is that nobody rates the spl and the market is reduced i mean would you sign a good player from the league of ireland for 15million even if he was top notch- doubt it

Gordon is a slightly better goalkeeper. yes greegsy is a good shotstopper however the very top teams in europe wouldnt sign him simply because at set pieces/corners he gets bullied in the air and flaps at the ball.

Was on the team bus today in track suit thought he`d b playin or on bench waste if thats ortiz bedoya and mckay wages could have been used for a decent midfield/attacker, rangers scouting system needs serious clear out enough of the old boys act!! look at newcastle demba ba, tiote, cabaye all top class players got team playin well all sourced for buttons good age with good sell on value need to take a leaf out their book
Agree7
Disagree2
Hardly sourced for buttons cabaye cost nearly 4.5 tiote was nearly 10 million and even though ba was free we couldn't afford to pay half of his wage.. I do agree with the whole change of scouting but needs a serious look at as well as looking at the old boys we should be looking to the future not the past.
Agree4

Tiote was £3.5m not £10m

I agree scouting team is just getting way beyond a joke, when u even see some of the bargins fulham and newcastle have picked up. even the septic have signed a few cracking players for next to nothing! something isnt right with our scouting team thats obvious

Scouting can't be all that bad when we brought in the likes of Bocanegra and Goian relatively cheap. No idea what Ortiz would be like as a player if he was ever given a chance to play his natural position.

Paper talk saying interest from Cardiff and West Brom in Sandaza, watch this space as he suddenly improves in some gers fans opinion. Probably end up too rich for us if it becomes a bidding war FFS. On a plus note happy to see Ally put out a strong team today.

Also jelavic said that his transfer money would be used to resolve the debt.
Also heard from a mate who's a rangers fan that sandaza & Boyd are to sign in the next 7 to 10 days ? Sandaza fee around 500k ?

What debt are we in? Your both tools it's a freaking TAX case you see that TAX! It's not debt! call your your rangers fans man you don't even know what's happening it's not debt yet if we lose the tax case THEN it's debt it's a case to see if we are slapped with a 40million debt which we won't cos we'll win it ! {Ed014's Note - The debt was only transferred to Whyte. It is still there.
Agree3
Disagree5
Stop deluding yourself. We are in debt. White is not the hero people would like him to be. We will go into administration and he will live nothing due to the way the deal has been drawn up.

Why would money for jelavc even help resolve the debt?

Lol thank 014 :)
Lenny
Agree0

The debt's still there, plus a 10m "back hole" which is probably only going to get bigger
Agree7
Disagree0
It was'nt the debt that was killing us, it was the interest from the bank. We were paying so much interest that the debt was inching it's way down. So It's better to owe the money to your owner than the bank. Celtic f.c also have debt to their owner DD, which came out at their last AGM, so it's not a big deal. Get this tax case out of the way, then we will start to find out CW motives for buying Gers, my gut feeling is something big is going to happen.

Doubt qpr bidding anymore, no manager

It was only transfered to whyte...so.its whytes debt. I couldnt give a monkeys cunkey if it was his debt its not in rangers name so who cares
