i know Naismith DA David Naismith and his sister carron anyway i was speaking to davie the other day and i asked him if steven Naismith was wanting to leave and he said no he wants to stay at ibrox they work in the home a used to be in that is how a no them am not lying before anybody calls me a lying

Believable38 Unbelievable23

If u did know them youd know her name is Karen not carron.

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you trying to call me a lyer because a do know them defenetley they worked in the home i was in kibble so don't call me a lire because a spelt a name wrong doesn't mean a don't know them and he did tell me Naismith wants to stay at ibrox

Agree0 Disagree0

It's obvious that spelling ain't the lads strong point, but thats no reason to disbelieve him, Naismith is a big fan of the club and I would hope he would stay -

Agree0 Disagree0

We all know that Naismith is a true blue.... we don't need an illiterate idiot pretending to know them to tell us this... Ed could we please keep this page focusing on rumours that are worth reading?! Cheers!

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy is telling the truth because ma dads girlfriend patsy miller works with naismiths dad in the kibble

Agree0 Disagree0

In all honestly why the hell would naismith leave ? hes on a good wage at us plus hes winnin trophies every season and playin everyweek for club and country and gettin the chance to play in europe aswell if he leaves were is he gonna get tht luxury unless its man united chelsea etc but i doubt they will go for him so he has no reason to leave unless its for a pocket full of gold thts the only thing i could think of

Agree0 Disagree0

Said this 100s of times, he might love rangers, but if anyone can double his wages or even better than double them it gets people thinking, you might win cups for 5 years at rangers hit 27, do a Kenny miller & your looking for 1 last big wage, even if a offer comes in for any player rangers would bite the hand off.

Lenny

Agree0 Disagree0

Calling someone an illiterate idiot is out of order make points regarding the club but do not denigrate anyone posting a comment you only show up your own gross ignorance {Ed014's Note - I totally agree,I wouldn't have posted that particular post myself.

Hi lads this is just a question for our fellow bears am not very sure but can someone confirm to me that the winners of the SPL this year will go straight into next seasons champions Leauge if we are we should push the boat out and get in a good goal scorer to put the league to Bed Ed please can you confrim this {Ed002's Note - No, both Scottish teams will enter in the Third Qualifying Round.}

Believable15 Unbelievable21

According to jelavic articlle in the rangers news winners of this years championship gains automatic entry into group stages.i would hope he is a reliable source. shaun h {Ed002's Note - So you believe some guy who writes for "Rangers News" rather than me? Don't you think I am a reliable source? Man you will be disappointed. But I will accept your apology of course - I am nice like that. As I said, both Scottish teams will enter in the Third Qualifying Round.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed you are wrong straight into the group stages for one scottish team. The winners obviously {Ed002's Note - Sadly not, I assume you have been reading the world-renowned "Rangers News" as well. Straight in to the Third Qualifying Round - unless of course UEFA change their rules to make an exception for Scotland, but that seems unlikely.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The ed is right.

European places for 2012/13
Scotland's position in the UEFA rankings at the end of 2010/11 was 15th, meaning that five clubs will qualify for European competitions next season:

~ The 2011/12 champions and runners-up enter the Champions League in the third qualifying round.

~ This season's Scottish Cup winners enter the Europa League in qualifying round four (play-offs).

~ The third-placed club in the SPL go into the Europa League third qualifying round.

~ The fourth-placed club in the SPL go into the Europa League second qualifying round.

~ If the Scottish Cup winners have qualified for the Champions League, then the SPL third-placed club enters at QR4, the fourth-placed club enters in QR3 and the cup runners-up enter in QR2.

~ If the Scottish Cup winners and runners-up have both qualified for the Champions League then the fifth-placed club in the SPL qualify for Europe, going into the Europa League at QR2

Look at the table on this. I know it's only wikipedia but still

Hey sorry guys dont no wot to believe but jelavic says if rangers win the league they get into the champions league proper with out havin to qualify so wots goin on and thts another reason for him stayin coz obv we have chance winnin it again this season {Ed002's Note - If I were you I would believe me.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Its true the spl champions get automatic qualifacation the season after they go in at the third qualifier sorry ed but check it if you dont believe me. {Ed014's Note - Check where?Post a link for us all to see.

Agree0 Disagree0

Def enter at the 3rd qualifying round but is there not just the 1 spot for scotland next season instead of 2?

rab {Ed002's Note - No, two.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The Champions League is a farce!! England Germany and Spain have top three clubs enter into group stage automatically at the expense of champions from elsewhere it's outrageous. I'm sick of the same cr*p time after time, the same countries getting wealthier and wealthier the same nations getting looked after in international competitions.

Football is the biggest sport in the world and for that reason it's sure to be the most corrupt.

Scotland need to have a miracle starting tonight and on Tuesday.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sure that we had to beat Sporting to get into 15th place in the co efficant that means next season we will be in the Group stages and it will kick in from the following year

Agree0 Disagree0

Quite simple, go onto champs league 2012/13 website, and you will get the answer. Ed is right.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tbh its a bloody joke rangers win the league and dont get in it as in normal but then man city for example come 3rd and get into it straight away im sorry but its all wrong thts why its called champions league for champions supposdly platini and the rest of uefa should get this sorted out...wots the pointin us winnin the league when were just gonna get hut with hard teams in the qualifiers all tht hard work goes to waste and we miss out on money aswell total joke and waste of time

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not a even CHAMPIONS league. should be called champs and runners up with 3rd n 4th place put in if your a big country with huge tv deals league.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is a joke but rangers couldnt even beat malmo so there hardly a hard team to beat

Agree0 Disagree0

I think its a joke that 2nd pace would enter at the same stage as us. its not really giving u any benefit for winning the league apart from another title

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason they pamper the G20 clubs is simple, if they don't then they breakaway and UEFA are royaly fekked ..
its not fair, but thats football

Agree0 Disagree0

This year the winner defo go straight in to the champions league its the next few years scottish teams will feel it {Ed002's Note - It is seemingly hopeless trying to explain to the Rangers fans.}

Agree0 Disagree0

1st and 2nd place (us and smeltic) will go into the third qualifying round, the only way there would have been an automatic place next season is if rangers and celtic (or two teams from the SPL) had qualifyed for the group knockout of the europa league OR Rangers had qualified for the champs league proper this season, also referring to a post earlier on this thread it is nothing to do with Rangers uefa ranking as a club its to do with the scottish leagues overall ranking, you have to be in europes top 16 to have 1 automatic place, after this years sharade we are now ranked 29th. The only way it may change for next year is if Celtic progress quite far in the europe league to help our co-efficient (which wont happen).

So you can do the math, this is why its probably going to be years if not decades before we see champs league football again. Dont be hard on us though fellow bears we have been flying the flag for the scottish co-efficient for years now, its down to your Celtic, Hearts, Motherwell that we are ranked so bad, believe it or not Aberdeen have done the scottish league the biggest favour (apart from us obv) when it comes to co-efficient points.

But i agree with all above points the champions league is not the champions league its just a tournae for uefa and G14 clubs to make money, but i have faith this will all change with financial fair play alot of ur big guns in england will be screwed and i will raise a pint the day it happens!!
