I lived in Crewe a few years ago, so have seen a lot of him over the years. He is very talented, however there was a lot of talk that he had fallen out of love with the game during his spell with man u. If Warburton can work his magic with him then we might have a superstar.

Heard this myself and when I thought about it it don't sound as silly as people may first think. We all know he was set to join us back in 2000 and said himself he had his heart set on it and fell through at the end so he may want to put that right now. then iv seen he is unhappy at fenerbahce and wants to leave turkey and boro are said to be interested and it's said he is open to a huge wage cut so wages may be negotiable and I seem to remember few weeks ago there were Roumers around we were looking at a fenerbahce player this one could be possible and he fits with what warbs said about the media haveing not dug him up yet.

Maybe the guy wasn't worth it, some players will only come to Scotland if they're paid far more than they are worth ie, Keane, Flo, and many others, in any case RVP is a far bigger player than marriapa, people will pay to see him far more than a no mark defender.

Hopefully we will sign a ST this week. Obviously a lot of thinking has been involved in who, My first choice would be Bradshaw / Grigg then Cummings. The likes of Vaughn would not excite me.

Might only have been me but when they squared up after coming out at the final they all seemed to be very friendly with him as if they knew we could be signing him and I've always thought we would go for him at some point.

Gaffer has to much class to mention who the striker is, even more so if he is under contract at another club.

No point saying Cummings is going to sign because of hand shakes. Look at Scott Allan at the start of last season, hug from Halliday and players being very friendly and that bit us on the Arse. Heard 2 names today about who the striker could be, source claims it will be either scott hogan from brentford or jonathan soriano of salzburg. soriano is top target but if a deal cannot be agreed we will move for hogan.
