I was reading there this morning that outgoing blackburn rovers manager paul lambert is telling the blackburn hierarchy to snap up sunderland striker danny graham who's currently on loan to them and is out of contract, I would love us to try and sign graham as I know we were heavily linked with him last week, he'd score goals for fun up here and imo would be a very good experienced signing for us, what about it fellow bears?

I don't think it will happen! He is currently on 30k a week! So unless he is a free transfer and willing to take half of those wages I don't see it happening!

He is a free transfer but he is on good bit a money can't see him willing to take a cut in deal unless we offer him longer contract to other clubs he might come depends on other offers I guess, be a good signing but no sell on value which I think is what rangers want these days.

As a free agent at the end of the season he will be earning £0. So anything is a pay rise.

Would like Nicky Ajose from Swindon, Matty Taylor from Bristol Rovers, Tom Bradshaw from Walsall, longshot is Will Grigg from newly promoted Wigan. Either of those.

I'd trust whoever we get to be honest, excited to see who we get over the line, hopefully early on.

He is a free transfer and of course its totally understandable that danny graham would need to take a massive wage cut if he were to sign for us ie. between 10k and 15k a week.

Not convinced on what he would bring to the club IMO. Think there are better options out there and guys would could have a resale value. At 30 we could get a couple of years out of him n then give him a free transfer.

Want to bring guys to the club who we can develop and then sell on. Folk on here might not like those comments but we have to be realistic with our business plan going forward.

id like to see some real money spent on a striker and a cb to be honest its not all about getting steals we have to get players who are proven in these two areas to have a proper go for the title next season.

Even if Spurs are interested they are likely to let him come to us given the relationship between both Clubs and also the fact that it is unlikely that he would be a first team player at Spurs whereas that is most likely at Rangers.

What is more Spurs will not wish to take the risk of going to a tribunal with Liverpool when they could in theory be asked to pay £4m+ and most likely they could get him in a year or two from us as a more mature player for less than that!

Looks like the Rossiter deal is done, was speaking with Rangers yesterday and we'll only have to pay 250,000 absolute steal!
