Like another poster on here said a few days back I've also heard that we're looking at both leeds utd captain and centre half sol bamba and ipswich town centre half christophe berra with our management team very keen to sign one centre half from the two, I personally would prefer bamba, he's still only 31 years old which is still young for a centre half.

I can't agree with a few posters on here who said they wouldn't want rangers to go near bamba, WHY? Bamba imo has everything more than any centre half we currently have at rangers, very solid and strong in the challenge centre half, very dominant in the air, is no slouch for pace, he would breeze it up here in the scottish premiership so for the life of me I can't understand why some posters on here have stated they wouldn't touch him, bamba also plays regularly for his country the ivory coast into the bargain.

Sol Bamba has always been an accident waiting to happen mate, that's why he never last's more than 2 seasons at a club. He is certainly not the answer to our defensive fragility. I don't think MW or Davie Weir will b asking Dave King to part with the reddies for him.

Hope I'm not wrong.

Bamba is defiantly not good enough for rangers and never will be . He played for Hibs and was complete and utter bomb scare he's not good enough sorry we should be trying for better.

I've said this in response to some other Sol Bamba related posts. Sol Bamaba is not, I repeat not, coming back to Scotland. He views it as a step backwards. That comes straight from the mam himself. Or rather, a girl who lives in Pollok who he likes to see every now and then.

Not seen Bamba play for a long time so I can't comment. Must be half decent if he is the captain of Leeds but clearly not a world beater. I would prefer someone else.

W15 have you heard anymore about Jason Cummings?

{Ed001's Note - I would ask on the Leeds site what they think of him. The most common opinion is that he played really well for a few weeks to get his contract and then has coasted ever since and they would be glad to be rid.}

Have to say warbs, I think bamba would be a huge gamble, we need to have a solid back pairing, baMBA is susceptible to too many bombscares.
