Not sure about the guy that puts in the most tackles near enough every season and gives 100%? Nah I'm not sure either. He'd be a good signing for us.

He is absolutely rank rotten as a Scotland fan I dread seeing hos name on the teamsheet ridiculously rash in the challenge, slow as mud and terrible with the ball at his feet. A total liability IMO! As a Celtic fan all the best hope you sign him up.

Hanley coming to Rangers? Get a grip of yourselves. So we have outbid Fulham at approx 2 million and are going to match or better his 28k a week wages. Not a chance. If he does sign I'll post a full apology to all folk who said it would happen.

I'd love to see him in a Rangers Jersey, but this won't happen. He is one of the best and most consistent defenders in the championship and aged 24 is the captain of Rovers. I really don't understand why people keep going on about speed for defenders. You don't buy a winger for his tackling ability or aerial presence. I don't remember a 40year old Davie Weir being quick!?

A player of limited football ability but maybe that is what we need to compliment one of our existing centre backs. That said he wouldn't be my first choice, I'd rather see Bougherra back than him.

Are there no decent quality English, German or Italian centre backs available that have a bit of football ability?

Listen our problem previously is trying 2 play 2 much football at the back. Hanley is a no nonsense hard defender and will be a great signing if we can afford him. I welcome him with open arms. It's what we are missing if I'm honest. Wilson and kiernan are 2 nice.

agree with a no nonsense defender . Sunderland signed Kone and he has made a huge difference to them. we have strike a balance between playing nice attractive football And being able to defend. Like attacking the ball when facing corners . 3 goals in cup final spring to mind.

Leicester have 2 average but very competent centre backs who just defend, no Beckenbauer quality but they do a great job. Its a no nonsense guy we need and Hanley is fine at being just that.
I will be happy if he signs can see a £1m bid being enough with £10k plus incentives.
