Whats the thoughts on mcarther signing pre contract in January. his wife is from yoker Glasgow and she's wanting up the road the family are blue noses.

As I've posted before, James McArthur would crawl over broken glass to come to Rangers. He's a Barrowfield boy, his wife's from Glasgow, the families are big Rangers fans, he'll still be able to earn a great wage and I think it would be a top signing. He's two footed, aware, has decent distribution, isn't a coward and wants on the ball.

A midfield of Jack defending, McArthur distributing and Dorrans attacking would work and would satisfy all the morons who persistently whine about us not signing every Scot that ever played a half decent game, like Walker, McLean, Cummings, Crawford, Allen and all the rest of them.

McArthur would only work if he became a decent player. We need to stop looking at players and assuming they are any good just because they play down south. Out with the top 4-6 in England the league and it's players are average. As evidenced by the dross Strachan had playing for the national team all this time.
