I think Bruno is the better defender tbh.

For example, the way Martin was so easily bullied during the corner against St Johnstone would no happen with Alves, he’s not what he used to be but one thing he does it win everything in the air.

Martin fit or not I'd pick Alves ahead of him. Martin is a good centre half but Alves a level above. Then Master Bates one level above that haha!
