So with getting rid of some of the expensive 'dead wood' with Alves going, a few mates are worried about our squad and size. I think we will make More signings but hope some of your young players such as Middleton, rudden, Atakiya, Bradley, Burt and not forgetting McCrorie steps up and get game time. Given the gaffer was blooded at a young age (yes I know they are not Stevie G), his initial foray into coaching with youth I hope he blends and brings them on. If the youth are good enough then I'm sure gerrard will promote them. There was a few in the spain training camp which is a positive sign.

If Alves signs for Parma we could do with signing an experienced CB to replace him.
