Vitor Pereria. Not long released from Corinthians, seen his name mentioned. Asked my mate, a Portuguese Porto fan.

In 3 seasons he suffered 1 single defeat domestically at Porto.

Immaterial to all these names getting banded about as possible manager's to replace gio because i don't think gio is going anywhere in the short term at least ?.

Correct, Sir Walter. Douglas Park is on record as saying we are 7 years into a ten year project to get us back to where we should be (and that we are actually doing better than we had planned) . That means there are still three years to go, which is exactly the time left on Gio's contract. I wonder if that was (and still is) part of the strategy and that his appointment was meant to coincide with our return to stability off the park and success on it. To me it is not inconceivable that Gio will be given at least the rest of this season and, if he steadies the ship, at least another year - equating to three transfer windows - to claim trophies.

Gio is still our manager

Support him and respect his position with the club untill any news breaks about him leaving etc or has left his position

Support gio
Support his staff
Support the full squad.

As long as Gio is in charge then he has my full support.

Intr I agree but he has to start helping himself too. Stop stupid comments if not working change earlier make players aware that they have to be focused early in each half as we always take too long to get going and by that time usually have conceded.
Pick two player for positions instead of five different people playing right wing.

SWS - totally agree but do we bring someone in to work alongside the current management team on an interim basis?

Rangers just didn't get the investment in the summer. Gio needs at least another window and some players back from injury. Goldson, Helenader, souttar, Lawrence, Roofe, Morelos still not fit as well as sporadic injuries to Ryan Jack.

Douglas Park Is not stupid the board put £100 million in they got £22 million back this season so All investors will have there cash back in probably 3 years then sell there shares for stupid cash as rangers will be debt free and making around £20 million a season profit.

I give my total backing to any rangers manager until they leave simple as that as i'm willing them to do well whether they were my choice to become rangers manager when appointed, or not ???.

Lol totally agree John desperately need a right winger and not what club has been doing buying square pegs for round holes

We must be one of the worst clubs for buying players then playing them outta position.

Agree Walter might not like sometimes but always want th to do well some call you blind for supporting even when not going well but is that not why we are called supporters ??.

RFC where's the proof of the 100 million. They got shares for Thier money knowing fine well those shares would increase in value I hate how people hail them as saviours the fans are the saviours we kept coming full stadiums all divisions we paid for season tickets during C.V. and got pretty much heehaww in return from club under these directors we got the new pay to be on waiting list scheme from these directors we got public fights with league just when we were starting to win a few our clubs support back over Thier own business rather than what was best for rangers.

Copland we possibly need to bring in a scottish coach who knows our club's total expectations and DNA inside out mate ? I did post this on here when gio was appointed nearly 1 year ago now ?I said the same when paul le guen was failing badly that someone should have been brought in as part of his backroom team, who knew scottish football ?.

What is the point in sacking Gio now?
Not even the greatest manager could win the league now with that lot of players.
Sacking Gio is only going to eat into any future transfer funds we might have.

We missed out big time not getting Skov Olsen last Jan for the right wing.

Yup skov was my pick too think we failed to come forward with money earlier enough and allowed time for brugge to come in stupid .
We need to get out of our heads that we are a big club in terms of how European players see us Thanks to people that run our league we see ever decreasing money per game from TV and European players see us more of a place to recover a failed career or a starting point than an actual good career move. The skov dithering proves that before we realised we need to offer more to get them over the line before other come in.

Leguen lol only good thing he did was give McGregor a run in team.
Always thought it was a huge gamble with leguen said at the time young coach, first time leaving own country for management, no expieriance of Scottish game or player culture, took over an already dominate team from houllier vastly overrated as a coach lol remember the Swedish midfielder he tried to turn into a CB ? Carl svenson ?.
