John, if money isn't the issue with Butland, I can't understand why he'd want to sit on the bench at Utd, no third choice keeper ever gets to play, he's the chance to come to us as first choice keeper.

Pandur represents good value and he's at a great age where there still room for improvement.

But I can't see him being happy as a back up to mccrorie at his age. and think he will want away shortly after arriving might be better to look at an experienced no2 if indeed mccrorie gets the nod.

This is more likely to happen than Butland IMO. The guys on the Rangers Review suggested Butland would require wages of about £40k/ week. Heks need to be a mainstay between the sticks for the next few years at that money. Therefore, we would lose McCrorie because he wants first-steam football, and would need to buy ANOTHER keeper on top of Butland.

Just my opinion, but I think Butland isn’t a deal Rangers will do.
