Andy we bought Borna for a couple of million a few years ago and he has more than repaid that. He is in his 30s now and last year of his contract so he has little resale value. It’s not like Kent and Alfredo where we could have made a good few million.

Not a lot we can do if the player wishes to run down his contract. Ee can't force him to move. If I'm honest he doesn't owe us anything. We have had our monies worth out him imo. He will be like Tav, once they're gone we will realise how good they were.

The difference between Barisic and Tav is that Tav has never faked an injury just so he could get off the park to avoid more punishment from the opposition. Barisic is a coward, and although Tav has his defensive frailties, he's never been a s bag on the field, even if he is being turned inside out.

Selling him should have been done before the window shut especially if he won`t sign a new contract. What decent frees are now available? Yilmaz has spent a year showing he is not the answer, Sterling does not give you any attacking threat on that side and with no decent left winger we need it. Yfeko is not a left back. Devine is right footed too but he at least showed that he can cross with his left foot when he filled in. What about Robbie Fraser he creates a lot with his left foot for the B team. He is 21 and we gave him a years extension, so if he`s not going to make it, why did we bother . Devine would be my choice but letting Barisic go at this point makes no sense .

Fraser shouldn’t have been given that extra year. He's never going to make it with us. This time next year he’ll be gone.

Thats why I asked the question. He seems prominent in the B team but unlike a lot of the others has never been near the first team. He`s 21 now, so I just couldn`t understand the contract extension.

If he's 21 and not in first team squad it's probably too late already ?

I know that sounds insane but it's rangers we should all know the signs by now.
