Just when you think the season can’t get any worse lol.

Hope not this could be a lose we would struggle to get over.

At least the compensation would be good.

I really want us to hold on to Bisgrove for a couple more seasons and see him and Bennett working together full time together for at least a season.
It is inevitable that we will lose him at some point and he is going to be jolly difficult to replace; imo he is the best CEO we have had since David Holmes was appointed all those years ago and I really do worry who or what we would get to replace him, we are only just recovering from the failure that was Bisgrove's predecessor.

Sounds like scaremongering and conjecture on the day their current CEO announced he would be retiring in 2024 after 14 years.

Is he that good if he’s not influenced the departure of Beale yet?

No chance. definitely a rumour. They will not go for him.

BerkshireBlue, i said for a few years on here how our former chief executive/ managing director stewart robertson was out his depth in his position at rangers and should never have had a coveted position like that, at a club our size ?Being at motherwell is one thing but never a glasgow rangers standard or anywhere near it for me ? Treated our supporters with contempt and just wouldn't bond/ communicate with our supporters ? well rid of him for me!

Bisgroves resume' speaks for itself. He's been successful at bigger projects than ours so it will only be a matter of time before someone comes in for him imo. Hopefully he'll stay for, at least, another year or two.

Absolutely not happening. Bisgrove as a man wouldn't leave after 6 weeks in the job.

11.) 15 Sep 2023
15 Sep 2023 08:48:26
Remember a few did not want him as he had no experience as a CEO.
If he chooses to go we get millions.

TJS, I tend to agree. I reckon that he will want to build his CV even further at Rangers before moving on to greater things. Up till now his CV is impeccable and it wouldn't be a logical fit to leave so soon in terms of continuity.
While Arsenal would be a major move for him, their current CEO has been 14 years with the Club so continuity and loyalty clearly matters.
What is more, Bisgrove won't necessarily need to stay in Football and with his skill set, assuming he continues to be successful, there are some major oppointments out there.

I wouldn’t say it’s inevitable, there were credible stories years ago arsenal were strongly after Lawell from Celtic and he spurned their advances.
Not always inevitable.

Why would Arsenal be interested in him? what's he done to deserve such praise?

15.) 15 Sep 2023

So for that matter super swally, why would anyone be interested in anyone mate ? Because they rate them ?.

16.) 15 Sep 2023
15 Sep 2023 13:49:43
Aye super swally what has lawell done apart from be the head of a club who have won about 20 trophies and sell players for up to 30 million and make a profit year in year out.

He's top class but at the end of the day he, ll go where he can maximize his earnings like any player or manager would.

Bisgrove will be rated in his field for over seeing a huge rise in turnover at Rangers.

Bisgrove rejected Australia cricket job as Bennett told him he would be our CEO.

He will one day leave, but could make us millions in compensation package.

John227. Does it show how bad player trading is at the club, where we look for income from compensation from board members etc. Jeezo.

Raskin, no it does not it shows we move with the times re compensation for back room staff and CEO, happens everywhere in industry

Great first post, running down club.

Player trading worked out not bad this summer in terms of finances raskin. We broke even give it take.
Previous summer we made an outstanding profit.
We’re doing just fine over here.

Didn’t exactly run the club down. Just the player trading model. I. e the aftermath of Ross Wilson.

I don’t agree the trading model did well or is doing well. Each to their own.

Cool raskin, model last two years very good.

It is the way of things now with managers to have that safety net payments John227 is right nothing we can really do about it if that's a non negotiable are you going to turn down the manager you want for than nope.
