I can confirm this is true. Rangers are now favourites to win the League Cup and first piece of domestic silverware of the season. Rangers are now odds on to qualify for the Europa League knockout stages. Rangers are only 4 points behind in the league (and we all know that’s due to a wrongful VAR call) .

Celtic are playing poorly. Their new signings look mediocre. The Celtic support are ready to turn on Brendan Rodgers at any moment. We need to keep the pressure on them. How will they feel watching us lift the League Cup? How will they feel getting pumped in the Champions League every time they play in it? - It’s demoralising. How will their fans react if they drop points again and we close the gap to within touching distance?

There was utter desperation to pull the plug on here two weeks ago. That needs to calm down now. We have a good run of fixtures, many of which are at home. The winning run has begun. It's time to get fully behind this manager and these players. We might just end up Champions of Scotland.

Agreed 3 points last night against a good La Liga side, okay pretty to watch at times and were still miles off where we can be but we won and showed some real good bits of football and mostly importantly took 3 points to get us off to a good start

Motherwell at home in league, then Livi @ home in cup and then the sheep @ home n the league then limassol away, hopefully the 3 games at ibrox take care of themselves and we keep the winning streak up and then another win in UEFA and it starts to give us a bit of momentum and as a club we start to feel a bit more positive

I for one didn't want Beale but we've just got to get behind him and i get sometimes his tactics and buzz words are frustrating and its not pretty to watch but if we don't get behind Beale and the players
were just playing right into Celtic's hands and let's not forgot there not exactly playing brillantly at present and their fans are just waiting to turn on Brenda.

Verdant, sorry but we were not robbed by VAR against Celtic. Irrespective of that VAR decision we had plenty of time to score two or three goals. On the day our tactics were wrong, (just as they were against Kilmarnock), and our team selection could have been better.
We had a great result last night but we need to win enough of our games in Europe to still be in the tournament post Christmas and winning the league cup is a must but is certainly not guaranteed. It is also the least relevant of all the trophies.
We have been unlucky with injuries and still have too many players at the Club that are simply not good enough.
What is encouraging is the way that Davies has performed in the last two games as we badly needed a left sided centre back.
Still along way to go and hopefully we can strengthen come January and go into the second half of the season with all players fit.

Shortly after Beale took over last season we went on a 10 game winning run. We have a run of favourable fixtures coming up and expect another good run from us now. Beale just needs to just keep winning a games of football and with the highest win rate in our clubs history I have no doubt he’ll do that.

Of course it’s a prediction. Absolutely nobody knows how this season will turn out before it happens. All we can do is wait and see how this play out.

I’m confident Beale can do good things with Rangers. I also see a Celtic team that are one or two bad result away from a “crisis”. There’s Celtic fans slagging off Hatate for not trying, their new signings look average, they aren’t happy. As soon as Brendan slips up again domestically the Celtic fanbase will turn on him. Then we get to see how Rodgers handles the pressure. Has he ever had to do that at Celtic before? I remember when Gerrard came and got a result against him he ran away.

People overreacted to the Celtic result. They wanted to pull the plug there and then which would have been a mistake. We must give Beale a chance, and it now looks like he has earned that for himself. If I see him standing with the League Cup above his head in a few months I will be absolutely delighted. People can slag that competition off all they want but we have not won it in over 10 years. Celtic are catching our trophy haul. I want that trophy in our cabinet and winning creates a winning mentality.

We played well in the second half last night, got lucky with a rebound to win the match, thanks to Butland saving our arse multiple times, Unless we improve drastically, We won't be that fortunate against Betis in Spain.
scraping wins is fine, but we should be smashing teams with the potential Beale has at his disposal, not barely scraping through each game.
He needs to start letting players have a long term run in the same position, that is one way to contribute to consistency, and build a players confidence.
Beal's had plenty time to tinker around and work out his squads strongest positions.
lammers or dessers will never be significant goal scorers
so play them as second strikers behind either Roofe or Danilo with a wide attacker on the LW and RW, constantly chopping and changing will lead to more bad results and an unhappy unbalanced squad.
Beale knows exactly what to do, so what is he waiting for?
lets get back to same attacking style we had under Gerrard, after all beale was the one training the squad so he can't say he doesn't know how to get them playing like that again.
4-3-3 attacking, maximum possesion, attacking tiki taka, controlling games and teams, not running around all over the pitch chasing the ball like a bunch of heedless chickens.

I think everyone on here would love for Beale to be a success! I don’t particularly care for the man but if he is what’s best for Rangers then I’m more than happy to put that to the side. However most people can see that his brand of football is awful his signings aren’t much better and Celtic are there for the taking this season more so than in a long time, but we couldn’t even do them at Ibrox at their lowest, they won’t be that easy again this season so we have to improve drastically and I don’t think Beale has the tools to improve us that much! But like I said I’d love to be proven wrong!
