So, it seems a certain team, bank and a City Council may have a very favourable and lucrative partnership, In the early stages of being investigated in europe. I hope that all is above board and no "sporting Integrity" or potential "Frauds" are being suggested. I wonder if there will be massive media hype and shouts of "Guilty" prior to an outcome of any investigation, by so called reporters or pitiful bloggers. . let's watch and see with interest! and remember what goes around comes around. . every dog has his day!

Yeah we cold list a fair few number of reporters who will be completely silent, will also be interesting to see if Neil Patey (who somehow to tv stations seems to be the only guy in the world that can talk about finances in football) appears on screen to discuss/explain.

Lw think Neil Patey was constantly questioned about Rangers financial situation because i'm sure he is a Rangers fan and ST holder at Ibrox.

As a Cooncil Tax payer, I would hope there will now be a full and transparent investigation into the allegations. However, I also think that this story is also an attempt to take Rangers' fans eyes off the ball with regards to their own club _title deeds, floating charges, Margarita, BPH, season book price rise (?), staff cull, etc.

{Ed039's Note - All of the above with regards to Rangers are still spoken about Pads, maybe it is being reported because it is worthwhile reporting)

Sorry, Ed039, never meant to suggest it wasn't worth reporting and investigating. I've never met a politician of any persuasion who was not conflicted. It's not an attempt by me to deflect. I would imagine that a formal investigation will be opened in due course : without taking sides, the alleged miscreants will be found to have no questions to answer because that's the way things work. Just that the timing is suspect - why si on this information for years?
