The squad never stayed overnight so let's say it was 50 quid per head x 20 - a grand all in! FFS get a grip bears we are still the rangers not a Sunday league team

{Ed039's Note - Thats not the point, its only 95 miles from Ibrox FFS, hours to the game by coach)

Ed we got much bigger issues than this, this is just another small thing being blown out of proportion

Yeah not a problem at these prices even Ally could offer to pay for all, in fact maybe when he read his contract he might discover it is part of it. Seriously though why in current circumstances (regardless of how much) should in anyway there be this additional cash going out.

I feel that although Wallace must produce a plan to sort out the whole structure, it would help the moral of the support if he could show a couple of major savings he intends, to make ends meet.
This would be outwith any cuts in players wages and/or numbers.
I agree that travel expenses etc. must be trimmed but JG is right, so Mr Wallace target the bigger issues first.
Unfortunately, we are not in a position that looking after the pennies will enable the pounds to look after themselves.

Op - that was the chepo internet deal. but you don't get the point. even if it was 2 grand it would be 'cheap' - but only if RFC could afford it. start looking it this way.

How many fans season tickets does each of these little jaunts cost. and could the money be better spent. Wake up - its the 3rd tier of Scottish football and most of the opposition that day had to be working at their day jobs

JG. what planet you on. back in angolia and under tooo much sun?

15% pay cut on Thursday, let's spend 1000 for one away game, like we never need to be careful with money. ?

no wonder no one knows where £22m gone, and about the £14m owed by club (with owns ibrox) to company?

history will repeat if we never learned any lessons from last time. What did you think of the Dunfermline game you said you were going to.?

6.) 24 Jan 2014
Yet again the spivs get the heat took off with simple tactics that ally falls for. he is their scape goat he and the team takes the hit over a small matter yet they fulled their pockets

7.) 24 Jan 2014
OP - if you feel that the stop off and expense is justified then seriously you need your head examined.
Its that type of wasted expenditure that has seen the need for 15% cuts and serious concerns of what happens after Wallaces 120 day judgement period.
Oh and another thing, bigger question mark hangs over the hotel itself. It's a creditor due approx £4k!

Sorry JG be it 1000 or 50,000 over the season, we can't afford it, just because we are Rangers doesn't mean we have to have the best of everything there is to get? that's exactly the mentality that has got us to this sorry state we are in from the Murray days. Cost cutting needed? but hey ho let's not start now. as we have a little booking at a plush hotel to go to? in fact let's not stop any of that stuff and get the players and staff to take large pay cut or even better let's pay a load them off as well. That is the sort of accountants that we don't need. Wallace 120 days to fix the probs started and what's happened??? we won't know because they won't tell us? But they will tell us they need players to take a pay cut? strange way of doing buisness?
