Lets not be kidded Wallace never got rid of Stockbridge, Green did, wallace did not have the power to sack him, remember Wallace was employed by Green its all a plan to try and get the fans on Wallace side old charlie boy has come up with another plan, the sooner there all gone the better.

Dave King it won't be long before you and the fans get total control.

Roll on Admin 2

Although, I would be happier to see Dave King take a controlling interest in Rangers, this is highly unlikely as I don't think admin2 is realistic. We have to remember that between £10-£12M of the turnover figures in the accounts which left the club last year was for non recurring expenses. The biggest crime is with the massive payments included in these figures which are not transparent in the accounts and although probably legal have worked to quite understandably anger the fans. If the directors (dictated to by outside influences)had chosen not to make the majority of these payments, then many of the debates about players/managers salaries, hotels and massages would be a lot less significant. As these payments were (hopefully) one offs, then clubs real balance of cost v revenue is actually a lot healthier.

Having said this, it is still very poor judgment by the people who run the club to allow these things to happen set against the bigger issues which continue to destroy the clubs recovery and leave us exposed to the justifiable criticism we are getting.

As for Dave King, if Admin 2 does happen and he wants to buy control of the club he won't get it as cheaply as Charles Green did as there is no debt and there are multiple significant shareholders to satisfy who will want a reasonable recovery of their investment (as a minimum). My guess is he would need £15-£20m to simply clear away the shareholder issues to secure 51% of the club. He then has to invest in the club to grow it to compete.

Either way, progress is likely to be slow. Removal or resignation of Stockbridge is the first step in the recovery of trust for me and now have some respect for Graham Wallace and will now give him the chance he deserves. let's hope he makes the other changes necessary before the season ticket renewal date. If he doesn't, sooner or later he will go the same way as the others who chanced their arm. We will win in the end.

@1 Why should stockbridge's resignation (he wasnt removed, no pay off was made) make us trust wallace? What evidence is there that stockbridge was pushed rather than walked? Rats and sinking ships spring to mind. As do straws and clutching when I read your post. Trust wallace? To do what exactly? Offer to first cut his own pay as a goodwill gesture of his sincerity so he won't demoralise the players by asking them to take one? Oh no hold on, he asked the players first didn't he? And his silence since then leaves everyone looking up wondering where the fk the axe is going to fall. Yeah he's the kind of leader we can all get behind. Get real. We can be sure that any "prudent cuts" he makes will still leave the fat cheques going to green & co, he's just another puppet ffs.

3.) 25 Jan 2014
@2 You may be right in everything you say but there is no evidence either way at the moment. I say Stockbridge moving on regardless how it happened is a move in the right direction. The CEO has made this happen. Sooner or later we have to trust someone. By the time May comes it will be decision time so he has a lot of work to do to convince most people. I am simply saying he should be given a chance until it is blatently obvious he can't be trusted

@3 It is already blatently obvious he can't be trusted. I respect your attempt at hope though.

N1 if addmin does happen again then we will never know who took what money wise I think addmin could be good to get rid of the current board I would not like to see it happen because the police are still looking into the strange going on at our club ide like investigation to bring people to justice if the cops find anybody commited a crime

There seems to be a growing voice on here that admin 2 would at least be a way to get rid of the current board. Eh? Hows that work? Admin just means an administator comes in for a while, makes lots of cuts and redundancies and sells off assets then hands the company back over once its no longer making a loss. In fact in admin 2 ibrox (if we still own it) could be sold to green etc, therefore actually strengthening the position of the current board. So admin is no way out. Only liquidation would mean end of company therefore end of board. But that would mean at best another newco being set up and starting out in div 3 again. This all amounts to one almighty stitch up fellow bears. We've been had. Big time. We are leech food with no way out.

7.) 26 Jan 2014
Honestly is there still people out there who do not know where these one of payments went. They went to David Murray 5mil for ibrox 3mil for Murray park and another 3/4 mil for Albion house the car park and other bits and bobs. Honestly do you think Murray just disappeared I wouldn't be surprised if somehow he is still taking money out of rangers. At the end of the day whyte green Stockbridge and the rest are just someone's puppets as soon as there job is done they are gone with a nice little pay off. Even the names of the dodgy companies who no one knows who they belong to have to make you laugh blue pitch holdings and the party club margaretta holdings come on honestly.

8.) 26 Jan 2014
N7 I've always said on this site that I think david murray is still involved in a big way he might still own the lot but it will all be found out some day eh

9.) 27 Jan 2014
@ 7 & 8 will you two stop it with these legal highs? Also did the Americans land on the moon or not? Seriously though nothing would surprise me now- there has been so much economy with the truth for years at Ibrox but I think it is greed and incompetence more than foul play- except for the IPO costs- that definitely needs looking into closely

10.) 27 Jan 2014
N9 here is one for you to thionk over I think david murray and craig shyte tried to work a fast one and then when charlieboy put one over on whyte he put one over on murray not knownn the original plan why would nobody let us see the deeds eh cause I think it was still murrays name that was on them before charliboy appeared that's what's caused the whole mess imo

11.) 27 Jan 2014
@ 10 hopefully we will find out for sure sometime- but as I said nothing would surprise me in this complete and utter farce
