Don't think it has given up home advantage as far as the players and managers are concerned because celtic players would love it also some of the squad outside Celtic play occasionally at Parkhead. my concern is a sizeable number of Scottish born celtic fans think they are Irish and support the Republic ( just like we have many supporters who will pull on an English shirt and support England) if the game was in Edinburgh only the true Scottish fans would travel whilst having it at parkhead would make it easier for the wannabe Irish to dust down their tri-colors pull on their Rep Ireland tops and go to the game.

They will only get tickets as part of the SSC and I don't know any members who don't wear Scotland attire, especially with the snazzy "retro" top we all got on renewal. I would also imagine that the stewarding will not be keen to allow opposing fans to mix.

The unofficial leader of the s f a will have told them where it would be played

I've been listening to this debate since it was announced. celtic park is the obvious choice for me. would we be having this debate if we were still in the top league. no. we think everyone is against us and this is just another "kick us when we are down"time to grow up boys and suck it in and stop talking a lot of Tom kite!

Gents not all Rangers supporters would pull on an England shirt as hinted at by some of the comments can assure you Ibrox is the correct place to play the Irish not Parkhead which is like home from home for them handing them a
