What with Hamilton gaining promotion to the SPFL and Dundee joining them, I do not foresee good tidings ahead for the SPFL.

Celtic's crowds are dwindling, so much so that they have closed off their top tier - but keep shoosht on that they do not really talk about that. Aberdeen, Dundee Utd and the rest do not travel with any great numbers, and the rest do not really have great numbers too travel with.

So it will be interesting times ahead to see who will generate the most interest. Hopefully we can do that by playing honest, free flowing, entertaining football?

I'd be more worried over season ticket sales at Ibrox, quality of football served, incompetence of the manager, crooks on the board and crook trying to take over (once admin happens again) and of trying to get out of the Championship which now contains Hearts, Hibs and less we forget the mighty Raith!

OP 10 out of 10 for optimism. 0 out of 10 for realism. Haven't you heard - mccoist is still the manager and we have no business plan to get us past autumn. Not exactly perfectly poised for domination. The spfl is doing just fine, though its clear you're one of those bears who wish dearly for it to fail out of some misplaced bitterness that our woes are not solely down to ourselves.

3.) 26 May 2014
Strange you talk of the league above you, jealousy? Honesty, free flowing football and entertainment are not words associated within ibrox are they lol. Well maybe entertainment as you have given us plenty last few years.

4.) 26 May 2014
As far as I was aware, Aberdeen have one of the largest travelling support

5.) 26 May 2014
Bluebellsareblue u should be given pr job at ibrox or comedian on britains got talent

Whatever happens at Ibrox regarding boardroom matters happens, no use getting your knickers in a twist over it. If King really wants the club he will have it, not much the fans can do apart from complain about the demise.
It would appear that King wants the club to go into administration and then pick the pieces or what is left of them - a very extreme and dangerous road to go down.
My choice would be for King to attempt to negotiate a purchase of all major shareholders to gain a majority shareholding and then force change. I would also invite those Rangers Fans with financial clout and acumen to come on board.

Celtic were at worst £32m in debt, but year by year they paying that off. After next years CL money, they can build warchest.

Meanwhile we have CEO who WONT tell fan who loaned club £1m how many STs sold.

Payroll this month, sounds like commenwealth games money pays for that, but what about next month?

8.) 26 May 2014
Bluebellsareblue there is plenty that can be done what u stated is typical of the apathy existing amongst fellow bears we can buy shares an get rid of wallace and co

9.) 26 May 2014
Free flowing honest football you don, t go to games then because the brand of football played at inbox is rubbish a team that struggled go beat players on £25 a week is pathetic you need to stop this obsession with Celtic who are years in front of rangers

10.) 26 May 2014
Sammy maybe that's why celtic are downsizing eh

11.) 27 May 2014
Celtic's debt as of August last year was £16. 69m. It is repayable by July 2019. Less than £3m a year based on last August. I don't think for one minute they have any intention of using a warchest unless they really have to and even then, reluctantly. Partly why Neil Lennon left for pastures new I would imagine.

12.) 27 May 2014
Does celtic not owe £30m to coop bank I think I can remember inthere accts either last year or year before

13.) 27 May 2014
Whole of Scottish football is downsizing tmwnn.

several 100+year old clubs suffering, seems sky make 1/10 of their money is Scotland, but only put 1/30 into Scottish football.

So less for all. Given we struggled to make money in to good years, it does not bode well, in the lean years to come.

wull61

They have an overdraft facility. It does not mean they have used it up. There are also some loans but they are not crippling by any means

15.) 27 May 2014
Wull, It was about a £30m loan from 2009-2019, hence the reason last year it was at £16m.
