ED can we try to calm people down on the loan situation today.

We all knew it was going to be ashley so why the surprise?

ANY and I include the 3 Bears in this, any lender would ask for at least MP as security. ffs Brian Kennedy was asking for Ibrox floating security for his wee 3million pound loan (why do you think he was on saying ashley hould make it on basis Ibrox can only be used by Rangers that was his condition)

The only important issue here is when the 5million is paid or at worst 10million if we use that by time EGM, that all securities are released, including the retail deal and also removing the temporary 2 Directors.

The 3 Bears and King were going to have to put 10million to 16million anyway if they were in power now! Seriously it is really simple bears the money was needed to pay bills, obviously we want that as we need to get to an EGM to get rid of them

When the new board are in place their 10million or 16million gets rid of the money Ashley put in and that includes the 3million as they are actually wiping that with the first 5million they draw down from ashley.

Nothing has changed here - win the EGM - throw out board - pay the debts and all securities are released. Then Rangers belongs to King and the Bears plus us Fans

People need to stop panicing and saying "thats ift for me now" as NOTHING has changed, the EGM is the only important thing now.

I am George : here's the thing I think the deal has us tied up in knots as far as the egm goes, if you think about " the right to appoint 2 directors to the board" for duration of loan well king, 3 bears or whoever can't pay the loan until there on board and now the can't remove his men from board for duration of loan surely if now they tried to vote them off they would be breaching the terms of the loan, so I think we're stuffed my friend

I think we have the right to go nuts about this deal we are shafted more retail to ashley another 2 directors that can not be removed at agm 5 million up front 3 mill goes back to ashley 2 million goes on wages and bonuses no doubt so why the ten million this board sayet they needed this now but ashley will decide when we get it desperate all this the sfa are sitting back and watching doing nout as usall a blind man can see ashley is running rangers to sum this up ashley got retail car park edmiston house training complex more directors yet people still think he good for rangers wake up and smell the coffee if things don't change for the good the club are going lose a lot fans full time cause people are sick of what's going on no change equallys no fans

We are getting a loan of 5 million initially, to pay back the 3 million loan to the guy we are getting the new loan from, he's like a loan shark, only bigger and nastier.

RF --- my reasoning would be that if the EGM goes ahead and the Three Bears and King, plus their supporters win the day, the present board would immediately be swept away and the new regime would then be in power.

No we are not!

The 4 board removed and Kings men in place is first move. Immediately they will pay off the loans which as the terms of the loans clearly state results in the 2 temporary Directors immediately being removed they are merely there as supervisory agents as to what the 10million is being used for, on ashley behalf.

It is as I said crystal clear - EGM vote win then 4 ashley stooges out, then the day the take their places on the board they use the funding that they have in place we know already (4 Bears 5/8.5million and King 16million) is transferred to ashley ie SD at which point the terms of the loan are exacted ie removal of ALL securities, 2 Directors will leave and all other "deals" are cancelled such as the Retail deal and Trade mars etc

I have read and re read the terms and there are no clauses or penalties involved.

Please trust me on this

1 am george your quite right the only bit that's a wee bit hard is the two directors which if money repaid they are off what I want is some of the money used to bring in new manager because I still say hearts can be caught but we need better tactics and k macdowall still in charge is nothing short of farcical because the guy heart is not in the job nor does he have the ability no other club in the world would operate this way let's hope the e g m goes the way we want then we can plan further ahead than the end of the season the one gripe I have at the minute with the three bears and king have not made any statements as what there position is or what there objectives would if they win at e g m

Two things R.F if King wins the EGM he will pay off the loan to see the back of Ashley and his men. 2. The SFA agreement has been breached again as 2 representitives of Sports Direct can be appointed to the board. So either the SFA serve notice of their removal or sanctions/licence suspension or they are gone at the EGM Ashley gets his money and his men are booted out. What the board have done is suicide because Three Bears will now back King to the hilt at the EGM and they were already offering similar money for the same control. All the board have done is saved their own jobs for a few more weeks. The only thing Ashley can do now is up his share stake to secure the EGM however again he would have breached the SFA agreement, yet he will own the club but he's not daft he knows the crowds will stay away, shirt sales will fall. All that Ashley has done today is made sure any loans offered he's gets his money back to protect and increase his Rangers Retail interests.

The end is nigh for this board.

Bears simply put you need to acceptthat the EGM and ashley loan it goes hand in hand, they were NEVER taking loan off anyone lse, see my previous post weeks ago about Bad Faith Negotiations, this board employ this tactic everytime. As in they enter negotiations appearing to be open to any offers equally with zero intention other than their own coice ashley.

Knowing that as we all did we have to just bite the bullet be thankful Ibrox is free of secrity and that when the EGM result goes as expected a King win it doen't matter what crap they are up to loans wise as they will be paid off with the funding King and the Bears have in place then it is bye bye ashley and these persons on the board.

The only thing left to do is terminate ashleys dodgy kit contracts or if impossible then boycott ashleys stores until the contract runs out. Buying red and black not SD kit to benefit the team.

Ashley and the board are on a train wreck to disaster and this is their last stand praying EGM vote is cancelled they can do nothing else.

Count the days down approx 5 weeks and it will all be over if I am wrong please feel free to slag me off in 5 weeks on here.

I am also certain a new honest board will refinance Rangers with a share issue diluting current shares and especially ashleys 9% as King despises him and I am sure the 3 Bears will feel the same after the bad faith negotiations they have just suffered.

Fans will be given the chance to, with King and Bears, own 51% of our club. I also think that there will be legal moves put in place to guarantee that forevermore Ibrox can never be subject to the whims of persons such as our board and ashley. I hope it is done in the name of the 66.

Is it just me that suspects MA still has a few cards up his sleeves and is a step ahead of DK and the Three Bears?

As for the SFA taking action on MA, what action can they really take? They cannot stop him buying as many shares as he likes, okay they can fine him but that is as far as they will likely go and he can afford that easily enough, any real action taken against him will see fat Mike get his highly paid shark lawyers to run rings around them until the incompetent SFA have no money to pursue any court action any longer.

And remember, Ashley is only technically involved in the holding company rather than the club.

The SFA can strip the clubs licence to play NAZ leaving the club with no league to play in, shares would crash and the club would be worthless, even if that happened by the time an appeal was heard the damage would be done. The SFA hold the Aces in getting rid of Ashley for good,.

Kerrymac I think when the e. g. m. is in motion the current board members resign, then it's up to the shareholder to re employ them or give there position to another.
