i can't see how Rangers can get back into the tie for me it's over. Motherwell used the same tactics used by so many teams against us this season. Sit back and hit Rangers on the break with quick players. Have never known a Rangers team to be so easily picked off by average sides. I'm afraid McCall isn't the manager some people think he is and his record of clean sheets since taking over is dire. Even in the play offs we have only managed 1 out of 5. It's too easy for teams to rip us apart and for the 2nd worse team in the Premiership to do it with such ease is alarming.
We have too many average players and others who have never justified their wages. The team is in a mess just now and there are very few I would keep. Sad indictment on the team that our 2 best players were Murdoch and Walsh. Murdoch never once hid and always looked for the ball and Walsh look dangerous going forward.
I'm sure we can score goals in the away leg however that defence can't keep clean sheets and are too easily picked off. Let's just hope we can get a few better players in and have a manager who knows what he is doing

How can you blame McCall stewie.ffs give the guy a break.he plays the same team that beat a good hibs side.your not telling us anything we don't know.we all know 90% of our squad is not good enough.now is not the time to dissect performances and who has what ability.its time to support the team.through good times and bad.for me the tie is not dead.if we get the first goal then it's game on.

McCall is only a slight improvement on Ally. He has done nothing to curb the amount of goals the team concedes and keeps playing players like Foster, Clarke and Law. Playing against Rangers is easy sit in and attack on the break. We fall for that every time. Last night we were ripped apart by the 2nd worst team in the top league at home.

My question is - who else is there? McCall has nt had the luxury of a transfer window. Defensively we so not have world beaters who are out of form. We have average players who play well an average amount of the time. He has dropped mcculloch when apparent he was done. Moshni is a bombscare and can appreciate you would pick a less risky player for crucial games. We have shipped goals but I trust if McCall thought gasparotto was the answer right now he would pick him. Wallace looks injured but stevie smith hardly a defender any more to replace him. Defensively he has no choice but to pick from a poor bunch and try to make most of attack. Again, slim pickings as Boyd ineffective, Clark not a predator although tries hard, hardie and Walsh have had more of a go in three months than McCoist would have gven them in 5 years. We work with what we have

Fair play to Mcall his goal at the start of the season was to keep Motherwell in the SPL.

Streete has been fit for 3 or 4 weeks now but had never been picked, the right back has been fit for weeks and McCall has ignored him to. There are players there that could have come in but McCall has stuck with the guys who have continually let us down. Why not try Gasperatto too he is good in the air and has played for the Canadian national team. A 5 year old can see that continually playing poor defenders will cost goals and surprise surprise that's exactly what's happened. Motherwell looked like scoring every time they crossed the half way line and had it not been for a shocking miss at 3-0 it could have been worse
