The more I hear Mark Warburton speak, the more impressed I get. This is the man we should get as our new manager. He has a vision for a club, a direction, and the passion to do it. We as fans have to be patient, I have not enjoyed the last 3 years 2 hollow league titles, dreadful football, and as a club we went backwards under Ally's command. I want a man at the helm with a long term vision, a belief in youth, and a desire to play good football. I think Mr Warburton is that man, I hope we don't miss out on this guy, it would be a disaster.Mr King and the board must act quickly, they know the fans will get impatient waiting for the new era to start.

Chris02, you know as well as I and many Rangers fans, a week is an eternity in football, we need a recruitment programme, which will only begin with a new manager in place. The new season will be upon us, we have no team to speak off, some promising young players, bear in mind we finished 3rd last year. What do you suggest? Time is an issue, Mr King and the board are obviously looking about, but time is the enemy at present, I may well be wrong. We all want the right guy to lead our great club, my point is, Warburton has shown all the right credentials to lead a new revolution at our club. Fingers crossed we make the right decision, or we will languish in the lower league again.

Would you not say you are in a weaker position now than you have ever been. Your squad finished third in the second tier of Scottish football. You have a depleted squad. No manager. No plan in motion for any funds. I'm constantly shot down on here saying I'm obsessed. No I'm not. You believe the dross you read in the papers. Always been your problem. You are a loss making company. Where are these millions coming from. Answers please.

It won't necessarily be about money, Rangers will have to be careful how they spend, the patient building of a team over a couple of years, before we can contemplate a real challenge to a dominant Celtic, But Malkybhoy, you know you need a Rangers team to push you on, the last couple of seasons have taken the edge from your own team,we will be back, but it will take time. The finances will be put in place, and wisely spent.

Safety2man . I agree finances will be put in place and the money will be spent wisely
Surely every management everywhere aims to spend money wisely, and it is only in hindsight when it is known if the money was spent wisely .
Surely it would be helpful for fans to know who was spending what amount of money before they spend their hard earned cash on season books .

Safety man I think he's right you now find yourselves in the worse position in sinse liquidation. No money,no real income,no players and no manager. You have a chairman who has yet to provide any clues to how he's going to fund the massive rebuilding process required in every aspect at the club. You have your main financial backer at war with said chairman who has yet to reveal his true intentions for the club and you can rest asure they won't be in the fans nest interests. I can't see how this bodes well in the monument task you face trying to attract a reputable manager and a playing squad anyway capable of competing in the spfl top league never mind challenging Celtic, don't believe the media when it comes to linking names with the job. I think you'll go round the doors then end up with the only man who really wants the Job,mcall. Your right though Celtic do need a strong challenge sadly I can't see it coming from govan not without monumental Investment from someone who has no interest in ever seeing the money again! Ashley? Honest Dave??
