ED001, hooly78 stated below that you dealt with Mccoist and found him to be money orientated, in what way ed I've found the opposite and would be interested to hear other peoples experiences with him.

{Ed001's Note - his choices regarding what he does are all about money. As in joining Sunderland for more money, going to Question Of Sport for the money when he had the chance then to go back to Rangers but the money was not as good. This is his business, not his hobby. He does 100% love Rangers, but he puts money ahead of that.}

I've got no issue with McCoist and the package he's entitled to in terms of his contract and have no doubt he's a dyed in the wool Rangers fan and I backed him in the hope he'd grow into management.

It appears he let loyalty and friendship to some players cloud his judgement on selection and recruitment. He avoided risk where he could, said he didn't concern himself with the money aspect of the club, when he should have in fact with inflated player salaries he was signing and he alone assembled a squad which few fans recognise as Rangers standard. He put together a starting 11, the oldest average age in British football at a time when we needed a commitment to signing and developing young players with speed and energy.

If he'd created an exciting team with future potential nobody would be arguing about how much money he was getting paid. I don't hear any Manchester United fans arguing about Rooney's 300 grand a week.

I used to think he was a Rangers man , not now he only wants the money . Watch what happens when his deal ends with us ,his big smug puss will be all over the TV . Your not a Rangers man anymore. Sorry.

His TV contract was worth a lot more than Rangers were offering but still he came! And I take it ed that you did not have any specific dealings whereAlly demanded a fee just a feeling.

{Ed001's Note - yes I did have some dealings but you do realise that business requires NDAs to be signed right?}
