31 yr old german striker mario gomez not returning to besiktas on loan from fiorentina due to political unrest in turkey 28 goals in 41 games in turkish league last season anyboy think worth a try rangers getting him on a loan give us a different option especially with warbs looking for another CF . think his wages would be too much though.

He'd be some signing but I agree that he would be out of our wage bracket. However I thought the same about Barton and Kranj!

Would really love this guy at Ibrox, I know it's a longshot. His stats are brilliant 138 goals in 259 games. Don't know what weekly wage he is on a Fiorentina but to get him on loan and pay a fraction of his wages would be amazing.

Gomez has always been one of my favourite strikers and could never understand why a team in the epl never signed him. if rangers could get him on loan it would make my life never mind my day. Long shot though.

think about it though i'd be surprised if he was on anything less that 60K a week.

Does anyone know if we got Gomez on loan would his club pay the majority of his wages and we paid like 25%. If Dunfermlineloyal is correct in saying 60k a week then 15k is our payment.
Only a thought cause he'd score for fun in SPL. Correction to previous post his entire performance data is 472 games, 277 goals and 62 assists.
