Ok 6 games in let's do honest assessment. we have mostly played bottom 6 teams and celtic and we have struggled big time. players we have brought in. pass marks to windass. well done looks a player. hodson looked good. gilks looked good but not seen enough of them.
Krancaer, barton, hill, senderos, garner definitely ain't rangers class so far and definitely are not starters in the team.

Mw and dw. well looks like there bubble has burst. there too 1 sided and teams know our tactics. its quite that simple. when somebody is soo predictable u learn how to win against them in any sport.

Will we compete for the title. no
Will we compete for european places. no
Will we get top 6.possibly
If i was rangers manager i'd call back hardie i'd drop mackay for ohalloran or forrester and i'd change tactics. 4132 whilst we have ball and 4141 whilst we dont.

I don't get the Garner bashing. Striker in new team with three and half games experience. Put himself about and scored twice. He is not a Kris Boyd type bringing tap ins/ lazy cost/ benefit and think a mobile and aggressive CF is a good answer to criticism we were light weight last season.

And to add some fuel to the fire - I have watched every game bar linfield and American team this season and, while some are not playing to capability, I can understand why each of the signings were made. I think they do offer positive qualities we needed and have limitations, just like everyone we are able to sign at moment. Some will hit, some will miss, that's football but never.

we may get a European place. but a top 6 finish would be good this season.

Our basic problem is a delusional manager.
There is no gulf between Celtic and Rangers
There is no great step up from the Championship to the SPL
Keirnan has what it takes to be an English Premiership player in the future
If we don't sign anyone else ( central defender) I am happy to go with what we have
We don't need a Plan B, all we need is to do Plan A properly
Today was the best we have played all season
These are all statements from Mark Warburton.
Prior to heading to Ibrox, I watched the Cardiff/ Leeds match during which the Cardiff manager was praised for NOT sounding like the coaching manual. He has a plan A, and a B and C when necessary
He is not afraid to admit he was wrong and make changes when necessary.
He doesn't make the prescribed two changes after an hour as per the coaching manual.
Incidentally, his team lost.
But he sure doesn't sound like Mark Warburton!
Today our first half performance was awful, totally inept and pedestrian.
Better in the second half, though still too slow moving the ball from back to front. Wallace and McKay need to be rested, and everyone in the back line told it is OK to play the long ball from time to time.
Pace together with the ability to play the telling pass is the key to unlocking a team set up to kill the game and play for a 0-0.
Windass had one major attacking foray in the first half, thereafter no-one played a single pass to him which would facilitate such a run. Overall outside of the short, square or backwards pass, our distribution was poor!
And the response from the manager was the predictable double switch after just over an hour.
I can't speak for the rest of the ground but the bears around us were far from happy. After all this was a home game against Ross County ( no disrespect intended) .
And at the end of the match neither were the directors as a collective if their head shaking and facial expressions were anything to go by!
I've said before that I believe all is not well in the football side of the club, that the Barton spat is a symptom rather than a cause, and that Warburton totally underestimated what was necessary to compete successfully week in week out in the SPL.
In that regard l believe he has to change his approach, prove he is not a one trick pony, get results on the board, or risk finding that Dave King was not joking when he said anything less than second place was unacceptable.

Massive budget way more than hearts and Aberdeen so no top 6 would not be good enough.

People keep going on abt hodson looking good which baffles me, he played in2 betfred games were he was up against nobody so were people are getting this i don't know and don't get me started on the boy fi raith that everyone harps on abt because he got motm in a 3-3 game against us.

Jason

Not sure if "top 6" was the game plan for the Board, given their time and investment.

But I am sure they will clarify their expectations again for us if this false start drags on.
