Honestly think that Halliday has made a decision that for him keeps his Ibrox dream alive. He knew he was on the list of Players that Caixinha wanted out. But no matter what you or I think the guy will try everything to persuide Pedro that he is good enough to be part of his Squad. He knew he could not stay as by doing that he would have been accused of picking up a wage and his reputation would be in tatters and would only add to the fact he woyld be well down the pecking order anyways!
I thought he may go to another SPFL Team on loan as he would have been monitered more closely BUT its possible that the Team he is going too were willing to pay all or most of his Wages. In my opinion I think Halliday is doing everything to stay in Pedro's plans and. for me Halliday has sat down with Pedro and told him that he does not want to leave and will do anything to try and prove to Caixinha he deserves to be at Ibrox and who can blame him. Taking himsrlf off wage bill is right thing to do, Halliday is not a big earner and I think the Club he's going too are paying ALL his wages which are supposedly as low as 2k a week. Fair play to Halliday you and I would probably do the exact same to try and stay at tge Club and hopefully other Playrrs will do the same and if there's no takers full time they will at least go on loan and not burden the Club with not only their wages but also their presence as its no good having Players around with absolutely no future at the Club! Even if Pedro gets them out the immediate picture regarding training by getting them training elsewhere with the Youngsters. I can see this happening with Forrester definitely and possibly others.
Mckay better sort it out as to me this all boils, down to wages! Which makes me think, that his agent has told him he can get him a Club willing to pay him 20k! A sum that he has not merited YET at Ibrox. We may have offered Mckay a wage as high as 15k a week which imo is still pushing it but he does have, real potential. I think the talk 6-7 months ago, about Mckay being a possible 6m Player has stuck in his head. Him now being told to train with the Under 20's seems like a huge messege from the Manager and a Transfer out looks to be on the Cards!

Holliday thinks he can see oot the year over there n hope Pedro gets the sack letting him return tae start costing us games again. With regards tae Mckay i would loan him tae an English championship side n hope he catches the eye of a couple of managers doon there. Although come January he would be free tae talk tae other clubs he is still oor player n wan ae the championship clubs may well want tae pay us a decent fee tae secure the transfer n get him in early. i think this is our best option
