We need a tough tackling midfielder? Surely Ryan Jack is that player. He can be out DMF for years to come. If he can avoid the red cards that is.

He's supposed to be that player but I've never been convinced by him rather have rossiter sitting deep with doc box to box

I don’t rate him, hope I’m proved wrong but I can’t remember a good performance with him in the midfield. Will be a useful squad player but nothing more IMO.

Are you serious Jzer? Rossiter can't stay or get fit. Terrible signing. Has offered nothing for 10 k a week. Slaughter me all you want but Ryan Jack can get on pitch. Dorrans will add to our midfield.

Rossiters latest injury has nothing to do with his previous injury in was a rolled ankle! My point was that rossiter (fit and playing games) playing as a deep lying midfielder and doc going box to box with dozza playing playmaker role! Is a cracking midfield! Obviously rossiter has a lot to prove fitness wise and that he can stay injury free but he's getting there and given his talent we're in no position to give him away
