With no typical holding mid available for Friday, this would be the perfect time to go 3-4-3 my team would be:

1.) 10 Oct 2017 23:17:25
That team is way off what we will actually start with

2.) 11 Oct 2017 05:37:24
Alves will be on international duties probably won't be back. As for 3 at the back st johnstone would probably get a draw. 4-4-2 same as every week. When you look at the squad its single fish. Bunch of nobodys.

3.) 11 Oct 2017 06:31:52
Alves and mccrorie and Hardie are all on international duty and Jack is banned so the team I would like to see against St Johnstone would be
Tav Cardoso A Wilson John

Candeias Dorrans Barjonas Nemane

Morelos Herrera

4.) 11 Oct 2017 09:47:46

Alves is in Portugal which is only a 2-3 hour flight back to Glasgow so why wouldn’t he be back in time when the game was Tuesday. I’m sure he doesn’t have to walk it

5.) 11 Oct 2017 11:15:10
Alves was an unused substitute for Portugal and McCrorie played for 25 minutes for Scotland u-21's so doesn't seem any reason why either of them shouldn't be considered for Friday night.

6.) 11 Oct 2017 12:17:41

Tav Alves Cardoso John

Dorrans Holt

Candeias Windass

Morelos Miller

This is the team I think we will go with. I'm not saying I would choose this.
However the one thing I would do is ask Miller to stop coming so deep and instead work the no.10 space and try to go down the left channel sometimes. This would hopefully mean we have someone to make runs into box and also he could alternate out left when Windass comes inside (as he always does) .

7.) 11 Oct 2017 22:51:32
Looks like the team Pedro will put out to be fair, cue cardoso/ Alves having some lonely defensive moments!

Fancy 3-1 Rangers

8.) 11 Oct 2017 22:05:27
If Albes is fit he'll play. a 4 hr flight and he didn't play a single minute so unless he's still got a niggle he'l play

9.) 11 Oct 2017 22:35:17
Alves will be back and if fit will play, that's why call it an international break.

10.) 11 Oct 2017 22:49:46
honestly fod the prod you are on here having more goes at our club than any celtic fan does.

you my freind are a disgrace to most rangers fans out there and most true fans that get behind their team would prefer it if u quietly fecked off

11.) 11 Oct 2017 22:50:22
FOD are you even sure you support rangers?
Ffs the negativity is ridiculous.

12.) 11 Oct 2017 23:03:15
Close, bluegenius, but Pena will play, not Miller. There are still difficulties between him and Pedro. I'm told a lot of this is to do with training and planning, as some of the 'British' players seem to take exception to some things, like Pedro dragging them by the arm and making them stand in certain areas of the park while he explains what he wants from them.

Pedro insists it's quicker than trying to communicate in three different languages, but one or two senior players resent being treated 'like the under 10s' as one supposedly described it. However, there is agreement amongst them that they actually buy into most of what he's trying to do.

13.) 12 Oct 2017 10:40:30
Well said peds 11 I am sure he is one of them the guy never has a good thing to say about the Famous

14.) 12 Oct 2017 12:37:06
Dare say you are right Big Sam.

15.) 12 Oct 2017 15:32:22
I've actually noticed Pedro doing that (grabbing by the arm) bigsam and i think its degrading to grown men/ pro footballers. i actually seen him doing it to Dorrans and he looked embarrassed and pissed off.

16.) 12 Oct 2017 21:07:26
I haven't actually seen it, SG34, but I've been told about it by the single source I still have that I'd believe. To me it just seems like a bit of a culture clash that grown men should be able to talk about and iron out amongst themselves. I once saw Walter dragging a very senior player from one end of the park to the other and say, 'That's the effing run I mean, you brainless ****.' It happens.

17.) 14 Oct 2017 00:32:23
The video of it is actually on youtube bigsam. it was just the other day and Dorrans looks so awkward as if to say "goni stop pulling me about"

He has money Fod, I'm not saying he's going to pile anything into the club but he could spend £11m tomorrow if he had to, to acquire these shares, the point is that it is pointless wasting money on an offer which by in large will be rejected due to the poor value on offer per share.

I don't know what the future holds for King but I do believe he fronted up when we needed him most and saved our club from the parasites that had infected it, and for that I will always be thankful to him. There are not many businessmen about that have outmanoeuvred Mike Ashley (who had the board at the time by the baws) quite as impressively!

I also believe that Dave King would willingly step aside or take a back seat willingly if someone came into the picture investment wise that could make a difference whilst safeguarding our future!

I hope not Fodtheprod that would be the most uninspiring change in management I could imagine. Very much respect the titles that McLeish guided us to but this was the man who led us to 3rd in the league in his final season with a dwindling talent pool of players!

I'd try to get both of them signed on pre-contracts in January and let them fight it out for the jersey! Moult I would say is a must on a free, there will be competition for these signings and if we could get a couple of 'quality' players in with whatever cash is available next summer i'd be happy with that business. Ideally we need to be bringing in at least 1, hopefully 2 or 3 players of Morelos potential every season.

100% Frustratedbear, I think that in the last few games Pedro's strongest 11 is becoming clearer and when fit the team would read:

My top team would have McCrorie in for Cardoso and I wouldn't have a problem with Holt or Rossiter in for Ryan Jack to be honest. Good player but him and Dorrans just aren't working together.

Well said Gary, I have always backed Pedro and I came on here after the old firm defeat and said that Pedro will be judged on the results over the coming months, so far so good, that was a tough place to go last night and one where we may have dropped points last season. We continue to improve and there is more to come I believe! We all need to get behind Pedro and the team! For me Windass and Cardoso are the only changes I'd make for next week and I totally agree with the poster who said push John up to Left wing/ mid once Wallace is back! I fear however Pedro will never drop Cardoso for some reason

Great result for us tonight and a cutla goals for Pena, so chuffed for him. This can be something to build on! Glad to see Holt show some class to set up Dorrans for a tap in, if we can get Pena/ Dorrans scoring 15 each from midfield (great start) then we are cooking! Declan John is worth a pre-contract all day long, can't see Wallace getting back in on current form. Hopefully get tore into Motherwell next week!
