Let’s give it laldy tomorrow bears even if we go behind! We've come from behind last 2 games so no need to panic, let’s take the roof off the place as the boys deserve it! I have a felling with Jack back and Miller out we could get a resounding victory but we must be at it from minute 1 including fans!

Mon the Gers!

Has jack not still got another game of his ban left?

2.) 15 Dec 2017 23:01:13
So miller out is a good thing? Never played football is my guess.

3.) 16 Dec 2017 07:04:38
Ryan jacks eligible to play today hami!

Saw a few interesting stats there - every game mccrorie has started in midfield we’ve won (5) 😁😁boy does look a prospect and in the league we’ve won the most games from going behind a goal first (interesting stat for all the negative posters on here saying we’ve no fight! 😁😁

Good luck today bears!

4.) 16 Dec 2017 09:16:53
Miller has been off the boil lately Rick Witter. You don’t need to have played football to see that! Spare me the patronising tone, I’m sure you are right about everything in your own wee world but I’m sure plenty will agree with me. I was merely stating my hope that with Miller out Mr. Murty will be forced to change it and we might benefit from a resounding victory rather than the squeaky wins that we had of late. Remember young McCrorie only got his chance due to injuries and look at him now.

Moan the Gers!

5.) 16 Dec 2017 10:04:05
DONT you know wee bear you have to have played football before your entitled to an opinion? 😂😂

Agreed mate miller has been off boil everyone’s career has to dip some point and for me millers time should be limited now to impact sub .

What do I know but I only played 3 years and captained the primary school team to glory all those years ago 😂😂😂😂

6.) 16 Dec 2017 10:27:16
think if rick thinks millers form has been decent the closest he has got to playing football is subbuteo. personally i think windass and morelos could be a great partnership. i have been vocal about windass more than once on here, but in the middle he is putting in a shift, has some great touches and has taken some of his goals really well. morelos is better with a partner, those two together won't give defenderd a moments peace! really hoping we don't revert back to one up top and stick windass back out on the left

7.) 16 Dec 2017 10:49:45
Couldn’t agree more. Miller hasn’t shown up since hearts, his injury could be a blessing in disguise like McCrorie. Also think windass and Morelos can be a decent fresh pairing up top. Morelos is better in a two

8.) 16 Dec 2017 11:53:18
Well said guys. It seems if you have a difference of opinion to some posters on here you are either a half wit, moron, tube or you have never played football. Maybe we are not the half wits, morons etc

9.) 16 Dec 2017 13:06:16
Hasn't Jack only served 2 games of a 3 game suspension?

10.) 16 Dec 2017 20:23:47
Jacks bn cap all season he's bn sent off more than he's had good games

11.) 17 Dec 2017 14:01:09
That's what I thought sent off in the game at Porto drive since then we've only played hibs and county

12.) 17 Dec 2017 14:02:12
I also agree with going with windass and morelos together! Windass is wasted out wide in my opinion and has shown he has an eye for goal of late

13.) 17 Dec 2017 16:40:13
id suspend him for another 3. Aberdeen player wearing a gers top

14.) 17 Dec 2017 16:43:01
agree mate
Aberdeen his level

Obviously pleased with the result today and the performance was ok, Hearts were very poor though and offered little threat, I thought they’d be after us today.

One thing I was raging about was that Windass shot about 70mins. Pure greed can be the only reason he never slipped Cummings in for a tap in and then they went up the park and nearly equalised. That would’ve been a disaster and he better buck up his ideas moving forward. I won’t hold my breath!

1.) 22 Apr 2018 15:26:46
Hearts were awful can’t tecall seeing a team give the ball away so many times in dangerous positions and not get punished. 2 extremely poor teams today

2.) 22 Apr 2018 15:35:29
Windass was a waste of a jersey today, if it’s not a ball in behind for him he’s not intrested in it . could have put Cummings through for a 3rd instead he has a wasteful shot he’s just not a team player

Thought wee holty was good along with dorrnans and I hope murty sticks with Cummings for next weeks game

3.) 22 Apr 2018 15:35:29
Windass plays for himself not the team. Cummings could of had a hatrick today.

4.) 22 Apr 2018 15:47:26
Wouldn't hold my breath in Cummings starting next week although I think he should. Think Murty will put Morelos back in.

5.) 22 Apr 2018 16:06:06
Windass should never picks the right option and Morales is just the same, greedy for glory, lucky to get £1milliom for him. also need 2centre backs who know how to defend

6.) 22 Apr 2018 16:25:14
Windass frustrates the hell out of me all the above posts I agree with but for some reason I think there's a player in there. don't know why but I do.

Hi Ed, poll time (serious poll) Bearmode asked for one the other day regarding a managerial appointment and I will list as many runners and riders as I can gather from the current suggestions/ betting. I don’t believe one was posted:

De Boer
Graeme Murty
Graham Potter
Steve Clarke
Sir Walter Smith
Neil Warnock
Alex Neil
Giovanni van Bronckhorst
Glenn Hoddle (please no)
Robbie Neilson
Any other Scottish manager
Any other night n Scot

Thanks Ed

Good poll ed - it just shows you how divided our own fans opinions are - when from 12 possible selections votes have been cast for every option available- it just shows how difficult or awkward getting the right candidate can be - personally, from the options available I chose GVB- It will be interesting to see how voting goes -

2.) 22 Apr 2018 10:22:38
Thanks Ed, the last one should have read non-Scottish manager! Bloody auto correct on my phone 😡

3.) 22 Apr 2018 10:27:15
There isn't a stand out manager for me that we can afford. There just isn't a stand out a souness or dare I say it a Rodgers. I hope I'm proved wrong and the next guy comes in and transforms the club.

Well the plot thickens now with S*n reporting that ‘King Kenny’ will be effectively sacked today by having his contract paid up in full and released immediately.

Don’t really know what to make of this latest news if true but surely the supporters need some leadership from inside the boardroom here.

I really hope we do not get a pathetic “thanks for memories” type straight from the pen of Jim Traynor.

I’m sure frank and highly charged opinions were banded around after that disgrace on Sunday however these should remain constructive and not personal in my opinion.

Team meeting should be tasty today and really the focus now has to shift to Hearts on Saturday and 3 points that seem a million miles away.

Morning Bears, gutted with the result yesterday and more so the performance after they went down to 10 men. The game for me hinges on small margins und ultimately quality finishing. Twice Morelos missed good opportunities and Celtic went straight up the park and scored either of these goes in and we have a third goal and we win the game IMO. The defending was shocking for all their goals and too many players were not good enough.

I thought Docherty and Murphy were both terrific on the day and if we can get Cummings, Dorrans in there playing at the same level as well as better from Tav Goss and John then we will give them a game or two before the end of the season!

Bears, there was clear progress in Rangers first half performance today. However, in the second half, despite having long periods of quality possession in wide areas, our delivery is poor. So many crosses swung in by players who can’t lift their heads which went far too deep or did not get past the first defender. What happened to dropping a ball into the danger area or trying to pick out one of your own team - we lacked composure. Finally, I don’t believe Fotheringham commands his area, his distribution is poor, as a keeper he is soft, and why he was way off his line for both 1st and 2nd goals only he knows. Still, onwards and upwards and Murty must stay.

2.) 12 Mar 2018 09:24:34
I thought Declan John was our best player yesterday.

3.) 12 Mar 2018 10:43:22
I thought our best player yesterday was daniel candeias!

4.) 12 Mar 2018 10:56:39
Controversial, given previous weeks performances, but I though Goss was well of the pace and couldn't handle the atmosphere. Murphy and John first half were terrific, but when Cetic pulled back after going down to 10 men - they had no room to work. Docherty again looked good for his age/ experience and will only get better for it, he got lost in 2nd half when he was taken off man marking broon and forced to play in front to the defence after Bates went off. Tav / Candeias (aprt from goal) didn't do much and their crosses in 2nd half were woeful.
Game of 2 halves was never more apparent and we didn't adapt well when Celtic parked the bus.

Well a good result today and one which was very much expected. Hopefully the intensity levels can be cranked up a whole lot as we will need to be outstanding next week. I have a feeling Jimmy Nicholl will be in the ear of a few this week! Man for man there will be individual battles to be won and we must take our chances when presented but my main hope is that we play at our best and leave nothing on the park, just go for it!

Yes Snell, if Motherwell win it they will be bumped up to 2nd qualifying round as cup winners, 2nd and 3rd int league will be 1st round and if Celtic win it then 2nd in the league go to 2nd preliminarily round and 3rd and 4th the 1st round as I understand it

Can’t see it after the statement and subsequent performance last week, a new manager and fresh start for fans and players alike is very much required and I’m sure the board will not alienate the supporters further by appointing Murty beyond the season.

Good point Trev and I feel that would come down to how conflict the 2 roles would have. For me DoF should be overseeing the development squads right down to the under 8’s or whatever, handle contract negotiations and forward planning in that regard. They should be overseeing the scouting department and make sure that the manger is being provided with a constant supply of players to be assessed by him as whether they would fit into his team or not. All in all it should be a positive role for any manager to see as an assistance and not a hinderance. Hopefully these are some of the things which Mark Allen provides and not interfering in first team affairs in the “here’s what you’ve got to work with” sort of fashion

Think he meant Glenn Hoddle, for me that’s a massive no, far too long out of management and will know next to nothing about Scottish football.

Both big gambles and not sure that we can attract either However this is the Calibre of manager that most fans crave and we need to unite for next season. For me, I’d prefer Steve Clarke if he could get us working as well as he has with Killie this year plus sprinkle in some transfer dealings I think we could be a good side at this level. The defence needs serious work but our goals tally this season is decent and there is definitely something to work with there for a good coach.

There are 102 points to play for outwith the old firms lads and while we look miles off Celtic judging by last Sunday we will be defined by our results against the rest next season.

Hopefully Robbie! One thing that has been missed of late with this much maligned board is that they really did back Pedro last summer with an unexpectedly large turnaround of players. They will be hoping for a far better return on that investment this summer as so many of the signings last summer under achieved. Hopefully some magic can worked and a manager appointed before the end of May so we can have a real crack at Europa league qualification which will be a tall order and probably come down to luck of the draw. Still Steve Clarke for me, he could make us consistent and would take no nonsense, also seems to be a good coach by improving what he has got to work with. I could see Morelos, Windass, John, Tavernier, Docherty all improving under him.

The protracted list is long however the votes cast already (77) show that there is no single candidate that is out in front in the fans eyes so the board are really stuck between a rock and a hard place. My vote went for Steve Clarke by the way and he leads the poll at present with just 15% of votes but I’d be over the moon with Gio van B 👍🏽. Not so much de Boer however I feel both these men would require a big budget to overhaul the squad and for that we would need external investment.

Just voted no, can’t believe it’s almost 50-50 at present that shocks me as a double treble means nothing as opposed to Europe for us and a treble/ double but hey ho it’s a game of opinions!

Couldn’t stomach it mate, I come from a mixed group of friends and I find that most of the banter is staunch but all the better for it. That is a step to far though! He has the 4th best budget in the league though so he’s not pulling up any trees just yet!
