As much as it's totally out of left field the idea of Stevie G with N Warnock as no.2 could work; NW at his time of life doesn't want the stresses and pressures of EPL if Cardiff go up as they will be favourites to come straight back down again, he has had documented disputes with the ownership of club and could see this as his swan song to win some titles/ cups.

Neil Warnock as number 2?

There is absolutely no chance Warnock would be Gerrard's assistant. He's taking Cardiff into the EPL.

Hi lads if it is SG which is looking more and more likely, then it will be McAllistar as his No 2 I'm sure. I for one would welcome SG, sure he has no experience and doesn't know Scottish football, however he has a pedigree and will attract better quality players and all players will play out their skin for him, also he is a no nonsense man, and a big name in football, Rangers need that and let's not forget Graham Souness proved it can be done. I have a feeling this is what we have been waiting for, and he will know the reasons he is there to stop 10 iar. And the bonus of the link with Liverpool can only be good for Rangers. Sorry for rabbiting on lads.
