Couple of point I’d like to share.
So I was out earlier with my brother in law, we went for lunch and a beer and discussed yesterday’s game. He’s a Celtic STH and made a decent point in saying that at the end of the season Celtic need to clear the decks and build a new team which might not guarantee success.

I’d never actually thought about this and although I don’t watch Celtic enough to have an honest assessment he said there is a feeling amongst Celtic fans that the current team has went as far as it can, he must have mentioned 8 first 11 players that are finished or need to move on.

The second point is, if the above is true and Celtic do indeed move players on then that puts us 1 season ahead in terms of squad togetherness.
Do you guys think is plausible or an over reaction from them because of yesterday’s result?

No mate we do need overhaul. Lost key players and had various position issues all season. Club is to blame mainly lawwell for cutting corners as its evident we need depth.

Credit where due yous were better team yesterday no excuses.

87shenderson, think an overreaction although some truth in what you say. Of yesterday’s team don’t believe Lustig and Boyata will be their next season and clearly Broonie is limited as an option. I actually think they miss Rogic massively and his non availability yesterday did us a favour. Like us they also have a large number of squad players that are not good enough, on a very good wage, and in need of offload.

Nice point Shenderson. I personally described them as settled on here other day in fear of Ibrox game but after yesterday we made them look OT Hill. There was hardly Tic player looked up to mark. This equates to old, tired, unfit bunch badly needing revamped. Broonie for one was bombs care and he is supposedly best of bunch. Let's wait and see.

Can’t remember exactly who he said would be moved on but he mentioned most of the team that’s wons the trophies over the last few years.

I I text him earlier and asked about the players again.

He says Gordon, Brown, Hayes, Boyata, Lustig, Sinclair, De Vries, Gamboa, Izzy, Mulumbu and Ntcham are all unlikely to be there next year and he’s unsure if Griffiths will ever return!

Again this is only his opinion, but he knows more about Celtic than me so if true that quite a firesale!

Brill result yesterday but has made me wonder why we have not performed like this week in and week out. If we had played like this, we could have at least been 5 points in front.

Delbhoy doesn't matter what side of fence you are on when it comes to old firms. One team could be flying high and the other team more up for result on day. Both sides will throw everything they can at result which makes it great to watch (wasnt for me yesterday though lol)

Honestly mate teams in SPFL that drop points away they should of won most likely do so at stadiums where they use plastic pitches. Its an unfair advantage.
