For selfish reasons I was hoping for more from Davis, he is still a NI first teamer and we haven’t got that many.

I feel Davis has not been given enough game time to properly assess. He hardly kicked a ball for Southampton and is bound to be rusty. Its a bit chicken and egg, but his passing skill would be a huge asset, lacking in midfield.
