Rest Easy Eric, not only a Rangers Legend but one of the nicest people in football. Like you DOIGER, I had the privilege of watching that great team, arguably the best ever Rangers Team.

Ritchie, Shearer, Caldow, Davis, McKinnon, Baxter, Scott, McMillan, Millar, Brand and Wilson. Wow, what a team. Saw the first leg at Ibrox v Fiorentina of the very first Cup Winners Cup final where Eric missed a penalty in a 2-1 defeat, the first time a UK side reached a Euro final.
Caldow never seemed to need to make a tackle he was so quick. Bobby Shearer on the other hand!
