Maybe I'm missing the bigger picture here completely or maybe I'm not but if I am not mistaken, we are 12 points behind Celtic, with a game in hand and 2 games against them. Now god forbid we win all these matches including home and away against them that leaves us only 3 points behind them. Surely it's all still to play for. Yes it's a tall ask to win every game between now and the end of the season but I think we've given up far too easily here. Essentially all we are asking is for 1 team to take the points against Celtic and that leaves everything in our own hands. I think some people have written off this season too soon!

You definitely are missing something. The way we've been playing of late braga apart we've not a chance of beating that lot away from home or anyone else for that matter.

We haven't beatn bottom of the lge all season. We can't even get a shot off until minute 62 against bottom of the lge.

Sorry a lot of us aren't very confident domestic wise just now. Its came dwn to we are struggling to even hit shots never mind scrape a point.

If the managers names wasnt Gerrard he would be off i think. Gerrards name buys him some time.

Honestly, I admire your optimism - but come on. Can you really see us beating them twice as well as our remaining games? They also now have a far superior goal difference. I don't think it's a case of giving up too easily, I think it's a case that some fans have a greater sense of reality - yes it's not mathematically over, but we all know it is.

thejuanpacer, stop it, your not allowed to be positive, good and true post mate, I can see us achieving anything we want IF we show the right attitude until May. SG has to be ruthless now, and also change to a 4-4-2 formation, Haji has to be the provider behind the front two of Kamberi and Defoe, just my opinion, and, give Jones another try and if he fails, he's gone. If Helander is fit, play him and Edmundson in Central Defence, and play Polster at right back. I'll get shot down for my suggestions, but, it's worth the try, we can't get much worse than Saturday.
