Hi gents,
I know it wouldn’t be the best timing or the main priority for our budget at present however .
I think we should be trying to nick in front of the unwashed and get Turnbull from Motherwell. I think he is the ideal replacement for Davis.
He will be cheaper than he was a year ago. We could loan him back to Motherwell for This season as Davis winds down and he gets back to his best. Maybe loan Doc or McCrorie too. Let them develop together.

Sorry blue genius a no from me, must admit I've not seen much of him but there's too many risks there.

He's not exactly going cheap so could be a costly gamble, he's just back from a major injury so again would be risk involved seeing how he's come back and if he can't find form, and lastly, let them have him I really don't think he's a step up to what we have.
For me mate he can't and will never lace Davis boots even though I do agree we would love someone in his mould for when he finishes up.
For all the doubters out there Davis was nowhere his best but as sgl coop said he just came back from injury, a think Davis could be instrumental in us winning the league this year if he finds his form again and stays injury free.

Agree Gazzaloyal, but some on here believe davis is finished instead of understanding the real reason he dipped in form, after our winter break! Up until the winter break steven davis was immense for us and pulling the strings ie. the 'wee puppet master"! 👌 He'll be very important for us this season!

Just to be clear guys. I do not think Davis is finished. I just feel if we don't get Turnbull in now we may miss altogether and I think he will turn out to be a player, that is all.

Who do you drop in our midfield to give turnbull a game? He wouldn't get a game for us mate, as we have better players currently at rangers than him. I'm with GazzaLoyal here in the sense let the ANTHILL MOB have him if they wish. Put it this way if they signed turnbull, it wouldn't perturb me in the slightest!

SGL it’s not a case of dropping someone, it’s about having a squad. Having someone who comes on and can influence game.

@SGL. Who did I say to drop PAL? your awfully defence man! How wouldn't he get a game for us? Explain that one. So celtic were ready to sign him? He wouldn't get a game for them either? Your too quick to judge. He's young, proved in our league he can cut and makes and creates goals. So you'd buy some dud in thier 30's and pay them double in wages?
