Yesterday wasn't a bad start for GVB it was a bad finish for SG. This was his team and formation with all the problems of the past half dozen games magnified.
We don't need major surgery we need a couple of fresh faces and the removal of a couple of past their sell date prima donnas - Goldson and Morelos come to mind. Good players like Tavarnier and Kent need dropping until they regain their confidence and form.
Of all the trophies available to us this season this is the one I'd have chosen to lose. Our sole focus now has got to be the retention of the title.

Tav is not a good player as his job is a defender and he can’t defend.

Gerrard started a new job last week so unless you know something we don't then he never picked the team, formation or made the questionable substitutions.
It was all down to the temporary management team.
But Gerrard is an easy get out for some and will continue to be if the unimaginable happens and Gio gets off to a poor start.

MPH here we go again! It was Gerrards team out there you said it numouris times that Gerrard leaves us with a great side in a semi, 4 points clear blah blah blah but yesterday was the reality of what he’s left behind a divided dressing room full of overrated players and that’s why he left he couldn’t get a tune out of them and failed to get us to the champions league so he couldn’t get out quick enough! And still you defend him unquestionably!

Morelos is not fit as he is going out on the town to sanctuary every week.
Bevying lots and eating lots.
He was a disgrace yesterday jogging around half fit.

Morelos is an absolute disgrace of a professional he must be easily half stone overweight, a honestly can’t see any true leaders on that park can you imagine, a gough, weir, Ferguson reaction if you are 3-0 down to hibs they would be tearing heads off players.

There wasn't a lot of options in terms of who to play yesterday given the poor transfer decisions made in the summer. Something has been wrong at the Club since the end of last season, who knows what, for me we need a systematic change of personnel across the field, a new goal keeper, a number of new defenders, a new midfield and we might just be ok up front if we ever get round to signing a quality winger. Above all, the number one priority should be to only sign leaders and those with a winning mentality.
Other than young Patterson I am not sure who else we could bring in to the starting eleven that would make that much difference!
